When they first opened they were amazing. They Have gone way down hill since then. A few months ago we went and the cook and waitress somehow missed our order. Finally half an hour later, after I said something, the manager came out got the order in and gave a discount. Ok things happen no big deal. Went back again last night and the waitress spent our meal mostly behind the bar gossiping and flirting with the bartender, our appetizer had sat so long when she finally did bring it the chicken was hard and the spinach dip had wilted and started to stick to the bowl like it was one solid mess of gross. Then she took our order another 20+ mins later came back with our food. It was absolutely cold. The soup and steak were hot. Everything was cold. Probably cause while we were waiting for food half the kitchen staff was hanging out behind the door grouping one another and laughing and horse playing. I tried to tell her about the cold food so it could be reheated but she didn’t come back again til the meal was completely over. I mentioned the food was all cold, as if it had sat out. She said no she brought it immediately it couldn’t have been cold. As if I was lying or don’t know what cold food is. I’d of shown her as soon as she brought it out but she never came back to check on us. Tbh she didn’t even ask how it was when we were trying to get out tab I had to offer the information. And she honestly didn’t care either. All I really wanted was out meal heated . I also ordered toast with my dinner and never seen that . I think...

So for a while now Cheddars in Cleveland has been our go to, we get there, sit and the bar and usually have great service, drinks and food. However, the last 2 times we have been it has been subpar. The first bad experience, started off ok, we sat in our usual place at the bar and noticed the bartender wasn't one of the usual ones we have been served by, no biggie, younger blonde girl, she spent more time hanging out with the waiter with the mullet than she did serving drinks or customers, we got wrong drinks, and she was just really uninterested in getting our orders or serving so our food had to be sent back and reserved, we decided we would be back, but if she was on the bar we would just sit somewhere else. Last time we were in was this Thurs, not a busy time, only myself, my partner and one other person at the bar. We sat down in our usual spot, saw the bartender stick his head out of the kitchen, and waited...and kept waiting, we sat there, a few waiters walked by behind us to their tables, the older lady came out and was delivering food (I believe she is a manager), she also ignored us, then a younger blonde guy in an apron came out to the bar area and tried logging into computers, and money etc, but didn't acknowledge us sitting there without anything either, so we just left and went to Long Horn down the street. I am not sure we will be back...

Our server treated my family of four as a family of three, which meant 3 croissants and three straws. Not a big deal, but it was a not too busy Monday evening and she failed to correct her mistake. Again, not a big deal, but enough to be included in a review. However, she was still very attentive, nice and excellent over all. I am happy with her service.
I had a Texas T-bone, which was seasoned well. I had a good house salad and a loaded baked potato that was rather disappointing. Only in the sense that when I think of loaded, I think cheddar, bacon, chives and sour cream. It had the first two things, but not the latter two. Other than that it was good.
My wife had the same, but with cheddar broccoli casserole and baby carrots. She liked everything, except the carrots. I have to agree with her, I don't like sugary sweet carrots. It seems like something you would do to get kids to eat them. If they were salted pan fried in butter and garlic, then they would've been great.
My daughter had chicken tenders and fries. Pretty basic, fries are nothing brag-worthy.
My son had the penne, which was bland.
We also had the spinach dip appetizer which was exceplent.
The atmosphere is spot on with a fish tank built into the on entrance. Along with their hydro-electric looking fans.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great place to eat, but I think the food could be better in...
