The food was good as always, but the service today was some of the worst I’ve ever had! Walked in at about 1pm, lunch time, the hostess seemed to be in a bad mood, didn’t even greet us or tell us to follow. Just walked off to a random table and started setting up. Didn’t tell us our waiters name or anything. It took our waiter about 20 minutes to even come greet us or get drinks ( building was about 1/4 full. Not busy at all. The waitress from the table next to ours finally took part of our drink orders and finally got us a drink menu. About 5 minutes after that (20 minutes waiting for the rest of us to order drinks) our tables waiter reimi g. Finally takes our drink orders and appetizers. Never even introduced himself or anything. He forgot one of our parties crab rangoons that we clearly ordered Drinks were made and sitting at the bar for 10 additional minutes before he even brings them to our table. After about 30 minutes of sitting with no drinks, we finally get them and get our food ordered. One of our party ordered an egg roll that he never brought and still charged them for. He not once filled one of our tables sweet teas, the next tables waitress had to again, do reimis job for him. Reimi would just walk around lost and then hide in the back and not acknowledge us. He finally brings our food and he’s touching food with his hands while grabbing the plates. Handing them out. (Gross). Then at the end I show him my card and bill and he walks away without taking it, Then 2 bills in our party paid cash and he messed up the change on both bills. Owed one 11.80 and only gave ten “to make it easier for him to make it out” in his words. both parties having vast food industry experience still left a bigger tip than he deserved. Besides reimis horrible service, food was good. Reimi Definetly needs to learn how to be a good waiter. Not let other waitresses do his...
Read moreWell I can only speak for myself because I love all people but apparently it isn't that way in this restaurant. I am a delivery driver of a darker color that's all I will say and I have been driving for 9yrs now. I've never had any problems with this restaurant till yesterday. I had to sit and wait about 25 minutes, maybe a little longer to pick up my order which extremely to long, not only that but a staff member was skipping over me and helping others that don't look like me, I think you get what I'm saying. I had to keep asking about my order and they would say we are waiting on a particular item then your order will be done. At least 2 or 3 times they changed the item they were waiting on for my order to be done. They act like they didn't care at all and were just comfortable about my waiting of about 30 to 35 minutes waiting on my to go order doe a customer. The lady who finished my said what else do you need in your bag order and didn't give me a chance to respond and she took it upon herself put what she wanted to in my bag and we didn't do anything intentionally to have you waiting so long. It was like slap in my face saying that, the manager didn't care at all, he just stood there. I'm a different person of color is all I can say I and I felt treated very differently for the first time in that establishment. When something like this happens, it makes you as a person feel degraded. I still have mixed feelings about this place. I just this doesn't happen again and I would hope the staff members of fulin's would treat all people of every race or color with respect because I didn't really care for the staff and I had to wait extremely long for my to go order even several people came in to pick their and left me there just hanging. I hope this doesn't happen again. I guess some things never change,...
Read moreSo, I normally love Fulins, other than a terribly long wait, the food is generally good. My favorite meal at Fulins is the Miso Soup. It is my go to, when dieting, sick, or just the craving. Unfortunately, I am leaving a bad review, because Fulins disappointed me tonight. We called a little over 30 minutes before closing to pickup a to-go order. We ordered our food, including a Bowl of Miso Soup. We headed to the restaurant, very excited about our food, and I, especially excited about my miso soup. As I am currently doing a religious fast, and cannot have meat. Leaving me with brown rice, vegetables, and my cherished Miso Soup. We arrived, and my boyfriend went in for our food. When he came back out, he had all our food except it lacked my Miso Soup. Which is the staple of my meal. When questioned where it was, he explained, they dumped all of the Miso out before we called. Which was over 30 minutes before they closed. Which is not only frustrating, but ridiculous. Then, he told me that he asked about adding some edamame to our order, because I have no longer have a complete meal. They said they had already sent home their cooks, and they had not even closed yet. My boyfriend used to be a server, and no one was good to go until closing. I’m writing this review in hopes that someone in management sees this and makes a change. I understand if the soup was dumped out 5 or 10 minutes before close, and we walked in after that to dine-in. However, we ordered to-go over 30 minutes before close. I think it should be important to remember that some people have dietary restrictions, and if their meal staple is soup, when dumped out early, they may not be able to be served. Just my thoughts, and expressing my frustration. Take it...
