I understand that it may be company policy to not do refunds if say the customer already touched the food. But when I'm at the drive thru, and I heard you said the wrong total and i wave and try to get your attention for you to not see me or ignore me and still run my card and then I immediately tell you when you hand me the receipt that you overcharged me and then have the AUDACITY to say you cant give me a refund for a mistake YOU made. This is the second time ive had an issue with your location, last time you guys forgot my chicken ENTIRELY which i paid for and was told i couldn't get a refund for. My only option was to drive all the way down there or use some sort of store credit within 30 days. I only put 2 stars because i do like the food but as a franchise do better and allow refunds for YOUR MISTAKES! This location in Cleveland has been open for a few months and i think ive honestly eaten there less than 5 times and 2 times in a row ive had issues. Next time im going to the Panda Express in Chattanooga. In a time where many atre struggling financially and may not have few extra dollars to spare to brush off a mistake like this, its extremely frustrating to just be told id be given more food......i dont WANT more food I want to be charged the correct amount.
This is coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry in many positions including as a manager. Panda express you need to start giving refunds in a situation such as this, you're not a 5 star restaurant to feel the need to refuse something that simple.
Thank you for management at the Cleveland location for taking the time to read this, I hope your higher ups read it too.
UPDATE: I changed it to one star because now I am even more annoyed. Come to find out I dont even have the correct entrees when I opened my food at home. I am beyond annoyed with this location, and I have been blessed enough to not get food with dead bugs as other negative reviews i read today have stated. I am never going to this location again and I may never eat at a Panda Express again. Give better training! Make employees actually pay attention! Or get a better management team! And corporate needs to change policy...
Read moreIn the heart of ever expanding and developing side of Cleveland, TN, on Paul Huff Pkwy, Panda Express stands as a beacon of modernity, its facade gleaming with newness. As you step into its bustling atmosphere, the clash of pots and pans creates a symphony of chaos, echoing the hustle and bustle of the kitchen staff engaged in a culinary ballet.
Amid the cacophony, the employees shout orders to one another, weaving through the labyrinth of activity. Tensions run high as patrons raise their voices, competing with the kitchen's clamor to be heard. The air is thick with the aroma of sizzling woks and sputtering sauces, enveloping the dining space in a sensory whirlwind.
Togo orders, a promise of prompt satisfaction, often bear the weight of delays. Excuses, thinly veiled by the staff, reveal the unpreparedness beneath the surface – a shortage of green beans becomes a harbinger of prolonged waiting, leaving the customer stranded in the aftermath of negligence.
Yet, in the midst of this chaotic dance, the staff exudes a genuine friendliness, their smiles offering a respite from the disarray. A paradox unfolds as the disorganization overshadows the warmth of their service.
The culinary delights, however, shine through the tumult. Each bite mirrors the quality of a well-loved Asian buffet, yet a unique distinction emerges – no free refills, a rarity in the realm of culinary experiences.
A somber note strikes as the absence of General Tso's chicken leaves a void in the menu, a wistful nod to unfulfilled cravings. Fortune cookies, once harbingers of destiny, now serve as mere vessels for advertisements. A wry smile emerges as the elusive fortune, if found, invites a playful game of adding "in bed" to its prophetic message.
In the realm of Panda Express on Paul Huff Pkwy, chaos and flavor entwine, creating an experience that leaves you both tantalized...
Read moreWent to the drive thru tonight (Friday) there were 4 cars ahead of us. Placed our order with no problem. When we got to the window we were told there was a 6 minute wait on Kung Pao Chicken which we both had ordered. I said ok but feared the worst. We were told to pull around front and they would bring it out to us. After 10 or 12 minutes I went inside to find our food. I was told they were waiting on Orange Chicken now, which we had both ordered! Finally after another 10 minutes the Orange Chicken was done and I was told they were waiting on Steamed Rice!! Why the heck is it that they never start making more product until they are completely out?? Fortunately our plates were partially made and they had already put the Steamed Rice in my plate so I didn't have to wait for that. What kind of Chinese restaurant runs out of rice and their 2 most popular items!? This happens regularly here. It is very frustrating. If I hadn't gone in to get my food I would probably still be in that parking lot an hour later! If they tell you to pull around chances are you won't see them come out anytime soon! Why can't you prepare more food when it starts getting low? Not wait until it's gone! I was only one of several frustrated customers there tonight. Portion sizes were lacking tonight also. Last time here we had the same experience and I was at least offered a free drink. Tonight all I got was mad I feel like maybe this is a policy issue about not cooking more before it runs out. There was one guy cooking and he was working hard. Not sure why this is such a problem but it needs fixing. This happens very often at...
