I rated Muldoons 2 stars for one simple fact. In the past 6 months I have ordered take out 2-3 times a month. They have now managed to screw my food or order up 75% of the time on all takeout orders. From burnt fries, to barely putting any fries in there, to bone in my chicken. Everytime I call the manager Matt he does a great job in resolving it. But I never requested any money back and I have been a patron of this establishment for 22 years now if not longer. I have lived in the 185th area for 32 years now. I will say that in 22 years plus of eating inside, I have never had to return or complain about any food item ever. I would give them 5 stars for the environment, the great food and awesome beer selection and staff. But I am a single guy who is busy and takeout is better then sitting there alone and convenient. I still do eat inside when I go with my mom or brother or friends. But when I want a meal and don't have time to cook it's easy to call it and pick it up on my way. Well I have taken pictures each time and showed the manager. Numerous calls and tonight is the last time I let them screw me on take out. I will order elsewhere when picking up food. I will still eat in, Bc it seems the cooks care more about those eating in then for a takeout order. I get it, the person with take out picks it up and leaves. The bag is tied, so they know it won't be seen till the person gets home. This is the last time. And I will say if I have one bad meal while eating inside in the next 6 months I will never be a customer again and share the pics I have of the bad food on social media and do reviews everywhere I can. Sorry muldoons but this is not the food and service I have grown to love over the past 22 years plus. Quality is going down on take out orders. I highly recommend if u want a place to eat, go inside here Bc it's a great place with great selection and staff but I would not recommend a take out...
Read moreTerrible!!!! I stopped in the other day because I had a taste for a burger. I went to the bar ordered a Pepsi a double peach crown A burger medium well with cheese and bacon with tater tots To go. I should’ve known something was wrong when my meal came out before I was able to finish my drinks. I took my meal home only to discover I had a hamburger with no bacon that was pink all the way through and about eight lukewarm tater tot. I tried to cook the burger more and reheat my tater tots in my air fryer, but none of that worked. The hamburger had no seasoning and fell apart and just horrible all the way around never could get it completely cooked. I ended up throwing it away along with the tater tots that were equally disgusting. The service left much to be desired As it took so long for me to get the check, I almost walked out. In terms of the atmosphere as a black person coming here I don’t know how the experience is gonna be from trip to trip. Most of the time I don’t feel like I belong. Although I have to admit, I feel that way not because of the employees but the other patrons. I think it’s just time for me to...
Read moreFirst time I have ever written a review, but after reading some of the postings I felt I needed to. I have been going to Muldoons for over 10 years and in that time I have NEVER saw a bug of any type, let alone a cockroach. This is a VERY friendly family bar/eatery. If you are looking for GREAT comfort food, with GREAT people and service, then stop in. The owner is there every day at lunch and is constantly walking the floor talking to customers and basically making sure all are having a good time. They do get very busy at times, but I have never, in 10 years, waited more than 15 minites for my food; and beverages are always brought ASAP. If you really want to know what kind of friendly family place this is, then ask yourself, where else in cleveland do they have the honor system for your lunch? No bills, you go to the bar to pay and tell them what you had. Find trust like that anywhere else? I think not. As for thoes making vague statements about racial comments being made by the staff or owners, or being ignored, WAY off base. Come in for yourself and see what a really fun...
