Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cleveland

Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I LOVED the 70s & 80s music selections that played during our visit too. We had never been before and the staff did an excellent job of explaining the menu options and serving our order. The food was delicious and the only thing that could have been improved was that the tortilla salad bowl seemed a little stale and chewy. We had steak Salad and ground beef salad with queso. They were also very generous to give us each type of sauce/dressing on the side so we could explore the flavors. I really liked the habanero mango and three pepper (both are spicy.) Everything beside the tortilla bowls was perfect, and the portions were generous. My husband really liked the tea. As first-time guest, we also received a Sample of Churro Dreamcake Dip with cinnamon sugar dusted chips, and those chips were light and crispy along with a Salsarita bracelet for each of us. We will get the full dessert on our next visit. The two managers were actively interacting with employees and guests and it was a positive, upbeat atmosphere. Brandy visited all of the tables in the dining area several times and made sure everyone was enjoying their meals. We plan to make a habit of dining at Salsarita’s now after such a wonderful experience! Horrible experience. The only reason I give 1 star is that I can’t give 0. Almost a $90 order and I asked if they would please heat a child’s burrito on the griddle. The item was still being assembled at the service area. I was told no, we can’t do that. When I followed up with why, the reply was we may get busy and that would put us behind. We were the only customers in line and only one other in the restaurant. This went on for several minutes and he finally said I’ll do it, but just this one time. As I sit and write this review I’m watching this manager who was to busy to heat an item just stand with the rest of the team waiting for someone to come in. I loved the food (chicken bowl with chips) and most of the staff but one of the employees, I assume it was a manager because of the collared shirt, was extremely rude to me and my son. My son can be a bit fussy at times and is very picky, so deciding on what to get him takes a little while. As we were halfway down the line he was having trouble on choosing what to get, so in response the woman with red curly hair says “any day now guys” in a very demeaning tone.
