Sichuan Hot Pot — Restaurant in Cleveland

I was so excited to eat at this new authentic Chinese hot pot place. This place is an amazing experience for the whole family. For those of you who are not familiar with what hot pot is think of it as a cheese fondue, which is super healthy and reasonably priced. We tried the $10 Sichuan hot pot and added our choice of meats and veggies. We got the lamb, spicy beef, lotus root, potatoes, eggplant, and tofu. The meats are for $7 each and the veggies are for $3 each. The quantity and quality of their food is unimaginable, and we were super stuffed after our meal. The hot pot is accompanied by a dipping sauce that you can make to your liking by combining the sesame paste, minced garlic, cilantro, scallions and a drizzle of sesame oil. You can get a variation in the hot pot liquid such as the non-spicy versions. The spicy chicken hot pot is for $28 and includes chicken and a 4 veggie choice. I would definitely recommend this as a super fun activity for the entire family where you can have a couple of hours of quality family time together. My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and wanted to sit down to a nice dinner without going too far off our route and Google showed this place. We have had hotpot at one place before and loved it so we decided to stop and this one. This was by far the best dining experience and food we have ever had at a restaurant. I wasn't sure how the bowl of cilantro, garlic, onions, and sauce was supposed to be eaten whether it was a dip or it should be left separate for something else and the manager noticed I wasn't eating it right away and came over and stirred it up and showed me what it was for. If she hadn't done that I wouldnt have known I was missing the best part of the meal that ties it all together. The meats, broth, and spices were authentic and the best quality I've ever experienced. I write reviews occasionally, but this place deserves a long rave about how amazing they are. We come to Cleveland occasionally and we will definitely be making a special trip just to have...

a little advice...if people from another state travel just to taste your food and order a bunch of things they will eat later at home, how about not shaming them for ordering so much? never been so openly shamed about a large order in my life, because MOST PEOPLE who work for money are more than happy to sell to paying customers! we spent $80+ dollars at your establishment, contributed to supporting your business. we could have taken that money elsewhere, but we chose to support your business for that night, and what did we get? two extremely rude servers who were very openly disgusted by our desire to try several items in our hot pot. we wanted to be left to our meal, we wanted to enjoy our meal without your rude behavior.
