Unfortunately this place is a scam, don’t waste your time here. I’m not sure if the owner is in it as well or just the waitress but they just tried to overcharge my friends and I on our bill. We went to see the Canelo fight on 05/07/2022 and bought a bucket of drinks each. Asked for jello shots and never received it. But when it came down to the bill we were charged for ridiculous amount of buckets that we never ordered or drank plus the jello shots that we never received. So we asked to review the bill with the waitress but she refused. She claimed that we had ordered the crazy amount of buckets and had to pay. We asked to speak to a manager the waitress lied and brought her friend over (clearly the other waitress) claiming she was the manager. We didn’t buy it so asked to see the camera footage of us supposedly drinking the crazy amount of buckets they were trying to charge us for. They refused and finally after a long back and forth argument when we decided we were going to call the police, they seemed nervous didn’t want to involve the authorities and billed us the correct amount. We paid the bill and left. Never coming back here, this place is a scam, fraud, a deceitful place. Don’t bother coming here to have a good time with friends because they will try to steal from you. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Palenque Restaurant in Clifton, and I must say it was a remarkable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The standout feature of our visit was the manager, who also happened to be a fantastic bartender. I used to love this place, nice bartenders, friendly owners, live music on occasion, good crowd, good dj and karaoke. Lately it's been a disappointment... I've been served skunked beer (multiple times), been charged $16 for a vodka and club (the barmaid brought me a shot of vodka...$12 and a can of Pelligrino Sparkling Water...$4), the karaoke host never plays my requested songs and the food is over-priced. Used to be busy on the weekends but not so much any more...I think the customers see what I see...expensive drinks, expensive food, no entertainment, unfriendly karaoke host and confusion behind the bar. A real shame because the owners are really nice and the vibe is definitively comfortable but... they need to fix some things before I go back...
