M3 Gratiot Pub — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Went to listen to one of their open jam nights. It's a good place but unfortunately they have a garage for that was open to a "outdoor" smoking arra. It was cold and the "outdoor"area was all sealed up with plastic walls and windows. So essentially it was an indoor area. Because they allowed smoking in that area all the smoke would waft inside the main part of the bar. So essentially they were allowing indoor smoking in one section of the restaurant. It was a double garage door that opened to this area and allowed all the smoke to fill up the entire place. Not only is this illegal in Michigan since 2009 but it's also hazard to everybody that goes to the place. When I got home I smelled like an ashtray just like bars used to be over 14 years ago before the Michigan clean air act was put in place. I tried to report this to Macomb county health department but you have to put your name and address on afore we have to download and then either fax or mail to their site. It then becomes public record. I don't want to be blackballed from an otherwise, great place. It would be great if they just close the garage door and open up a little bit of ventilation in the "outdoor"...

Ok so don't take this too serious. We had fun listening to live music. It is a great place for that. There were NO SERVERS, just one bartender who was overwhelmed. You had to order from the bar. No coffee, no Tea, had to get water & a Coke, not drinking. If you drink beer or mixed drinks it would be ok for you. Nonfood was available because their cook quit last minute. Not their fault I suppose, but left early to go find dinner. LAST THING: This place is SMOKEY(as in cigarette smoke) State law says rhey have to be smoke-free, but I suppose their patio with the garage door & enclose by a plastic tent of sorts gives them a way to say smokers are outside. I have asthma and 2 hours was not good for me. If you're a smoker...

If I could absolutely zero reviews I would. One guy with cigarette ahhh breathe in my face trying to tell me and my friend to sit in the smoking area (which is also in the building) because she had her LEGAL service dog WHO WAS ALSO VESTED. And then the audacity of the “owner” saying she knows her “laws” telling us “well some people don’t like dogs” while she has a grown little boy standing behind her trying to intimidate us little girls while she says “well I don’t want to fire things up we don’t have bouncers” well uhh okay???? Heads up if you want cig smoke mixed with your food and drinks and want to be harassed go here!!! Congrats idiots on not knowing ADA laws and for trying to intimidate/endanger two little 24...
