The perfect end to a day of exploring the last alignment of US hwy 66 showed up as soon as we got back onto I 40. (See photo) A sign of an ice cream cone generated a quick exit to a nice surprise. Thus is a family farm store/restaurant. If you are lucky enough to know Culver's, picture that with a small but meaningful fresh foods store at the entry. This store centers around 7(!) freezersfilled with more different flavors of frozen dessert than I could imagine. All stores are located within a day run of the farm in Tuttle OK. They also have their own truck fleet to get things to the store fresh. Big note: If you have a milk protein allergy, are you aware that not ALL milk has the A1 prorated? Jersey and Gurnsey cows do not produce A1, but A2. Evidently the Braum family is going to the bother of using cows that are not the Industry norm in the USA. I wish more farms would follow. If you don't know Culver's, they have a line of burgers that embarrasse national chains, and more, plus great frozen dessert. This is like that, but with even...

I think this was the first time our gravy and sauce was actually filled up. And even though we didn’t use them because we were on the road, we did like that they finally put butter in the box for our roll!
Pretty good food at this location, the occasional slip up with ingredients or forgotten item in the drive-thru that happens at every fast food place. Might have a bit of wait time depending on employees or other customers but other than that this Braum’s is pretty great.

The strip dinner has been better… the last few times we’ve gone the strips were small and don’t even taste or look like the old strips? Atleast the place is clean!
𝟒/𝟏/𝟐𝟑 - Officially dropping the rating after this last visit, the chicken strip meal is getting worse and worse. The strips aren’t just small now they’re thin as well and taste like I’m eating cardboard!...

We didn't have the time to step inside but we will the next time the opportunity arises; the ice cream chain also doubles as a market so I look forward to discovering what they have in stock.
For food we had the butter pecan cup, a custard mint chocolate chip malt, and 2 crispy chicken sandwiches (one spicy, one original). I'm not a fan of mint chocolate chip (AT ALL) but this, the one they serve has me convinced it was a maker fault and not my taste buds. It was absolutely delicious. I felt bad for how much I drank (my husband adores mint chocolate chip). The butter pecan ice cream was so yummy; I just know I'll be dreaming of it for weeks. The pecans were like candy, so good. We devoured our ice creams and in our sweet induced bliss, we had forgotten about our food. It went cold but it was still...
