My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair. The cashier immediately took our order and asked us to wait over to the side of the ordering area for our order to be filled. The cashier, the lead and the manager forgot we were there and ended up filling several other customers' orders before filling ours. What got my attention was that my husband fell asleep in his wheelchair waiting for his order, a vanilla shake, to get filled. The employee that noticed my husband and I were still waiting for a coke and a shake was also disabled. They notified the other three employees of the situation AFTER the disabled employee took care of us. Awesome! You can't teach someone human kindness or give them the ability to simply see someone else in need and choose to help them. Whether you are considered disabled or not..... You have the ability to be kind or just decent to another person, animal, etc. or you don't. That employee turned my thoughts on my Mc Donald's visit all the way around that day and my husband was so happy to get his shake! He left there with the biggest smile and gave that employee the biggest "Thank you!" See, it was our first day in Oklahoma City, having just arrived from an 18 hour drive from California and it was our first stop, as it was almost 100° outside! So, thank you too from me. Your noticing my husband and I and choosing to act made a noticeable...
Read moreI've been to many different random McDonald's for breakfast while traveling on road trips before...this one really surprised me! I did not personally go through the drive through as my brother and I are traveling in a sprinter van. Our family that is traveling with us went through. For the mere aspect that I did not deal with the customer service part so I have no opinion on that, is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The chicken nuggets were also not the freshest they could have been either, though still good despite minor fault. When we first showed up, the drive through line was outrageously long (and never ceased to be long the entire time we were there). However, despite being super long, they were pounding out orders left and right! It was seriously the shortest wait time I've ever experienced at a McDonald's drive thru! Color me impressed! And the best part was most all the food was fresh tasting and delicious and nothing was missing! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Maybe we caught them on a good day or just got lucky but whatever y'all were doing on that day, you should...
Read moreWe just ordered FOUR 20 peices chicken nugget specials with fries. We recieved half of the nuggets we ordered so I called and asked for a manager. I spoke to Laura who daid she was the manager. She apologized but kept telling me that people make mistakes and they don't intentionally try to mess up orders. My response was that if someone double checks all orders to make sure everything the orders are correct before they are given to the. Customers, these mistakes wouldn't happen. Nevermind the inconvenience and the gas money spent to have to drive all the way back to get our complete order, she also insisted that we bring back the incomplete order. So, my neice who is 7 years old cannot eat because we have to rerurn all of the food before they will correct the order and give us the rest of the food. Are we not in a pandemic? Laura wants the food returned and we are in the middle of a pandemic? AND she kept reiterating that they didn't make the mistake on purpose...who does? But double checking orders cuts down on careless mistakes. It's called...
