I didnât end up getting food from this establishment because the customer service was disgustingly rude I no longer wanted to patronize.
I went through the drive-through and ordered a cold brew and asked to add cream. The lady Responsed with a flat out âNo.â I asked her why not and she said that the drink did not come with cream. I said I understand that, but I like my coffee with cream so can you still add it for me? She responded again with a firm and prompt no. She stated that she will not be adding anything extra to my drink because the drink is made in the machine and thatâs the way it will be served. When i asked for the cream on the side so i could add myself she stated they donât have any milk/cream on the property which is a bold faced lie, even the gas stations have cream for their coffee!
I spoke to the corporate office and they informed me that i should have been able to add cream to my coffee without issue but didnât do anything to rectify the situation.
This location NEEDS customer service training ASAP it seems like everyone has an attitude... And for this to be a new location.. what are yall so sick and tired of already??? You...
Read moreAs a native Texan who grew up walking distance from a shipley's, I was so excited to see them here. However I've traveled 30+ mins from DC to try this location out 5 times now and always am met with disappointment. I've been given the wrong kaloche twice (egg and sausage or jalapeùo when I asked for plain sausage and cheese.) and when I ask for the right ones they NEVER have just normal ssg and cheese. The last batch I got was so dry the bread was crumbling as I bit it, not at all the soft, buttery kaloche it should be. Oh, and it was the bold, as yet again they didn't have the plain sausage and cheese. The donuts are on par, I am a glazed cinnamon twist fan, and the coffee is good. It is never super busy, generally a car or 2 in drive thru and a few folks inside. The service over all is fine, except that whole "every order is wrong and when I go to correct it, they never had what I wanted" element. Guess I can save myself an hour every few weeks, no longer need to head there to get my beloved...
Read moreMaybe my expectations were too high. Unfortunately, Shipley Donuts lacks consistency. I eventually left because there were no hot donuts available. The staff member did kindly ask if I wanted to wait, but I just didnât have 15 minutes to spare for a product thatâs literally in their name. While I understand the focus on freshness and not wanting items to sit out, glazed donuts are the restaurantâs staple, so having to wait that long felt unusual. Perhaps Iâm comparing it to the Shipley locations in Texas. Iâd love to come back, but not for cold donuts that have been...
