I tried this restaurant after hearing a good review from a friend and seeing such high ratings. I ordered takeout. Friendly staff. A lot of parking available. It’s a small restaurant with limited seating. The quality of the food was good overall. I tried the crab legs and shrimp platter on two separate occasions. The first time I tried the platter was with garlic sauce. They gave a lot of sauce to enjoy your seafood, potatoes and sausage with. The sauce is a-little sweet which wasn’t bad but unexpected. I tried another platter with old bay seasoning to see if that sweetness would accompany that platter as well. The platter was sweet as well. I believe their butter sauce they use as a base is just sweet overall and they add whatever seasoning as requested. I enjoyed their hush puppies. Hot, crispy, sweet and made with corn kernels. I love the texture of corn kernels in my hush puppies. I also ordered their fried catfish which came out crispy and golden. My go to is the fried whiting, fried chicken wings and fried rice. All the flavors I've tasted are bomb so I there really isn't anything I don't like here. I thought it was going to be just like regular takeout food when they first opened but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food you get, the fresh fried taste (doesn't taste like it was fried in old grease), the amount of flavors for the wings and the customer service of the employees is really good. I'm so used to angry looking disgruntled employees at the carryout and it's such a turnoff that would make me not come back but not this place, they are very friendly. Highly recommend this carryout. I do wish they served fresh fried oysters and fresh fried onion rings that they batter themselves bc they use frozen and I think that would set them apart from other carryouts if they did that but I understand that is also time consuming for a carryout to be able to turn around orders at...

Delicious! Period. My first time ordering from This is Seafood. From order to store it took me 15 mins to get there - my order was ready hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean upon entry. The young lady who started my order and the owner who finished my order were both up front and super friendly. I ordered lemon pepper wings with Cajun fries and 12 shrimp with hush puppies…YUM. They showed me my food before bagging and asking for any sauce choices. The sweet tea and the lemonade reminded me of my family’s drinks in the south! Iced and sweet. The wings were a nice size, seasoned perfectly and cooked just crispy enough. The shrimp were clean deveined on both sides and the batter coating was just enough. The shrimps were indeed jumbo. For the sides there was a generous amount. For the prices, the food is definitely worth it. Great customer service goes a long way in my book and I will be a repeat...
