Visited the drive thru on 6-8-23 @ approximately 5:30 pm. After sitting in the drive thru line for 12 minutes and it not moving and not hearing the car at the front of line ordering or being spoke to, call the store to inquire if there may be an issue with the speaker. I was informed by the lady that answered "we are slammed and doing the best we can" and that the girl at the window was having issues with the customer at the window. As I started to say I was just wondering and not upset, she hung up on me. After waiting another 5 minutes and seeing 3 cars leave, the line begin to move. I ordered my food, went to the window, paid and received my items. I asked Grace at the window what was the name of the rude lady who hung up on me when I called a dew minutes ago and she said she was not comfortable giving her name but would get her manager. The manager walked over and stopped before getting to the window and spent time speaking to the people getting orders together and then finally leaned down out of the window. I asked if she was the rude lady who hung up on me and she replied "I was not rude", I looked at her name tag and asked if her name was Karen Baker and she hesitated and then said yes. I advised her she was rude and she interrupted and said her manager was there and did I want to speak to them. I told her no and to have a pleasant evening. I was not going to hold up any of the cars behind me or let me food get cold and was more than perturbed with the experience. After sharing it this morning at where I work, 4 co-workers all knew who Karen Baker is and all stated she was rude, hostile and this was nothing new from her. Very sad state of management at the Cloverdale Arby's...
Read more$2 for tap water? You've got to be kidding me. I asked for a large water with my meal and she told me that she couldn't give me a large, but could give me a medium, then when she told me the total, I said that's a bit high, what's all on the order, she said she had to charge me for pop, even though I wasn't getting pop. I asked how much, she said 2-something, I said, for tap water, she said yes, I about canceled my whole order and left at that point, but got my food and left, with no water. I will never understand the fast foods restaurants infatuation with selling pop with everything and "punishing" you if you just want water, and trying to charge me for it when I'm ordering a meal, give me a freaking break, that's just unethical to charge someone over $2 for a paper cup of ice water. Oh, my...
Read moreIt went through to order food from this location, and when I asked my drink not to have ice in it I was told that it is a company policy that they are not allowed to not put ice in the drink. I wonder if they monitor every guest inside to make sure each one of their Cups have ice in it? Simultaneously, I wonder how it's acceptable to make such a policy when there are many people with teeth sensitivity, and it has only been at this location that I have ever heard such policy. The woman over the intercom was blatantly rude, poorly trained and customer service, and the worst representation I have ever seen for a company. We will be sure not to return. And I would love if corporate could contact me on why they can't adapt a sandwich if say you have an allergy, but not adapt a drink? Or is it just...
