Boba Pub - Clovis — Restaurant in Clovis

I came here last week after hearing about it from a friend. The shop opened only a few weeks ago so it is not very well known yet, however i already know I am going to become a regular here! The lady at the register helped me decide what to get and recommended their best seller to me. She also mentioned that they had customizable drinks so I could add anything to them if I didn’t find one on the menu that I already liked. She was extremely friendly - as were all of the other staff which was great. I got the brown sugar boba and the Cajun fries and both were amazing. Drink was a bit milky but the soft and chewy boba texture definitely made up for it. They do have new store hours (closed on Thursday) but besides that the boba shop is open later than any other boba place around making it extremely convenient as well. My cheese dog sucked. It was hard like a brick. I tried ripping it off with finger but could not chew. Waste of money!. I didnt know until I have left the facility and went down a block to starbucks to eat. My garlic fries is super salty, I had a headache from eating a few. My hotdog.. eh...how do you overcook hotdog buns? it was tough and hard! Is the lady not a cooker? Do you guys not have time marks for each food item? How do you make a damn hotdog bun hard and tough to eat?! My daughter didnt like the watermelon slushy..with boba, it was already all watery at handout and did not taste sweet. The only good drink was the mangonada and coffee. I gave it 3 star cuz I liked how it looks inside and you're able to draw on the wall with the chalks plus had board game to play with my kiddo, so overall its a good environment with a few good drink but I'll pass on the food. Ordered Boba drinks for the office, when drinks were delivered none of the drinks had Boba. Our door dash receipt had a note that stated "we are currently making our first batch of boba. I'm sorry about that, we threw in macarons". We ordered 8 drinks and none of them came with boba and they sent us 3 macarons to make up that none of the drinks were made correctly.

I called Boba Pub 2.0 and the guy said sorry, it takes 30 mins to heat up the water and 1 hour to make the boba. I come in at 10am and and the boba is not made in time. I told him, we ordered our drinks at 2pm and this is the excuse you give me that you come in at 10am and it takes an hour and half to make the boba.

Will NEVER order from this place again and will NOT recommend them to anyone! I can understand if you run out but you should have called me to cancel our order instead of sending us 3 macarons so each person in the office can take of bite....
