Really was not impressed. The fact that you could have heard a pin drop in the restaurant in an incredibly busy resort should have been my first clue. There wasn't even kids at the bar in they're swim trunks ordering burgers and fries. Did not take pics of food because I was just so disappointed. To be quite honest, I was so worried about being disappointed or getting sick that I just stuck to apps. I do have to say that the chips and salsa at the beginning was good and fresh as was the Gucamole. Also the owner was nice came over and spoke to us; he seemed quite proud of restaurant and seemed clueless about how poor the quality was. The remainder of the food however was awful. Queso and refried beans were terrible. The fried ice-cream seemed to be freezer burnt and not freshly fried. The flan my friend ordered also seemed "store bought" and not made in house. We all want to support our local mom and pop restaurants but this family-owned restaurant really needs to step up it's game. We were warned before we went in 😫😫 by an employee who said, "I love Mexican, but I really don't really eat there. If I do I usually only order american food once in a while." The individual did not slander the restaurant at all, but you could read between the lines. The resort really needs to look into another restaurant chain. The resort is absolutely gorgeous and has a number of great amenities. Aztect Two not only doesn't fit, it doesn't serve the needs of the well-deserving time-share and hotel guests....
Read moreAwesome Margaritas and Tacos! A hidden gem on the beach. The food is excellent and the service at the bar is 5 Star. Go see Roger and tell him that Sun sent you. They have really good happy hour specials so check them out early. The menu is very Tex-Mex but it's not generic like some other places in town it's actually quite good. Also take note that the owners are Cuban and they could possibly be running a Cuban specialty. Do ask about this because they were offering a beautiful pork black bean and yucca dish the night that I visited. If I had not had My Mind Set On the tacos I definitely would have ordered the Cuban food. Fortunately they were willing to sell me a side dish of the Cuban Yucca and that was absolutely delicious. I also had a chili relleno which I thought was excellent. I was there celebrating a friend's birthday and they surprised her with a beautiful sopapillas and ice cream dish. As well as all of the birthday fanfare and singing that went with it. This is a great place to celebrate a birthday. I need to get back there and check out the rest of the big menu so this is just an initial review but I will update as I try different dishes. If anyone from the staff is reading this y'all are doing a great...
Read moreI usually try to support the local business where I live, but I need to make an exception. Azteca, Too, at the Resort at Cocoa Beach. I love wet burritos and their Supreme Combo is awesome! One of the best I've ever tasted. My beer was cold as I like it, served in a clean mug. And the service was ok. So what is my problem??? When I got my bill, $31.00 and change...there was $1.50 added to it for my hot sauce! How petty can you get? You get sauce when you order burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and the like, but these cheapskates charge you $1.50 for it! That would be like ordering shrimp fried rice from an Asian restaurant and being charged extra for the shrimp! Or McDonalds or Burger King charging you extra for the ketsup for your fries. One greedy act just cost you the continued business of a neighbor, 1.7 miles away...was it worth it? I tipped my server as I always do, and the booths either side of me, did not, but I let her know that I was deducting the charge of the hot sauce, letting her know that a gratuity is based upon the word, GRATITUDE, which had been decreased according to her actions. SHAME ON YOU,...
