We decided to go here for a nice evening out to treat my mother in law to dinner. We were a tad skeptical as we read through the reviews, but even more hesitant to go there due to the responses from the owner/manager. We decided to take our chances as we were there for the food. 😀 We arrived a few minutes before they opened and people were lined up outside waiting for the doors to open, which was a good sign. We called the day before to have our name put down, so thankful we did that. We didn't go to the bar but apparently they must have a very good happy hour as that bar was packed. Our name was called shoetly after the opening of the doors. We were greeted and shown to our seats by the hostess, which was very friendly. Alex, our server came over promptly once we were seated. Very courteous and detailed. Explained the specials and took our drink order. When he came back he brought us the delicious house homemade bread. Super YUMMY served with a garlic type butter. We placed an order of the grouper bites. Those came out hot and were absolutely delicious. The batter on them had a really good flavor, it isn't just your basic flour batter. Enough to bring a great flavor without overpowering the grouper. It did come with a sauce, I had ordered that on the side, as I'm not a huge sauce fan. However both my husband and mother in law enjoyed the additional flavor. We ordered our meals and everything was cooked perfectly. Fish - with Yukon mashed potatoes and ordered a side ceasar salad (additional $4) - but was fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing. Mahi special with sautéed veggies (zucchini, squash with shredded onions and sautéed onions in a dill sauce) She seemed to have really enjoyed it. She ordered the oscar sauce on the side and was glad she ordered it as it added even more mouth watering flavor to her meal. My husband tried the sauce and he commented on how amazing the flavor was also. Filet - cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Every bite had a wonderful savory flavor. Delicious. Served with double Yukon mashed potatoes. All of the food was prepared perfectly and serving sizes were just right. We finished our dinner off with a slice of carrot cake for dessert. It was moist and full of flavor and plenty big enough to share. The cream cheese icing was refreshing as it wasn't super sweet. Alex did a superb job.. he kept drinks full and didn't pester us, but made sure we had everything we needed. Service goes along ways....and he was spot on. Thanks Alex for making this a pleasurable dining experience. A manager came around to ensure everything was good at our table and we assured him that it was. There is plenty of parking as it is in a shopping plaza. They have indoor seating and offer outdoor seating as well. The food is delicious, give them a try. We will be back. Great meal.

$10 kids Kraft Mac-n-Cheese are you kidding me?! First of all let me say I was really wanting this to be good. We were celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary and from what I had seen online and the fact that we were staying right across the street at the Hilton garden inn, this was exactly where we wanted to go. We arrived, ordered a couple of drinks, the crab tower, shared the surf and turf and wait for it…..kids mac and cheese for our 3 year old daughter. Our server was great by the way. The manager Chrissy was nice at first when she came to check on us at the beginning of our meal. She asked how everything was and we had barely taken our first bites so it was clearly too early to say. When my daughter’s food came out (kids Mac and cheese) my wife and I both joked that it looked just like Kraft Mac n cheese from the box (which we love btw). Our server confirmed our assumption which is fine and I was expecting to see a cost of $5 or less when we got the bill for that food item. So needless to say when I saw a charge for $10 ($9.90 to be exact), I was shocked. It was literally 1/4 of a $.99 box of Kraft mac n cheese! As weird as it may sound I felt like we were totally ripped off and I was taken for a ride. I get a 2x, 3x, maybe 4x mark up for a restaurant price but more than 10x you’ve got to be kidding me! There’s a difference between inflation and rip-off and this was a total ripoff! When I brought this up to the server I could tell she was uncomfortable which is no problem so I asked to speak to the manager. When manager Chrissy showed up again at the table the niceties were gone. She simply said “did your kid eat it?” to which I replied “most of it” (which kid wouldn’t lol) so she said I’m not removing it and began to tell me it wasn’t nice that I come to a restaurant asking for something for free. And maybe I’m off base here but from a customer service standpoint there was zero understanding or willingness to compromise over a $10 concern/complaint. Per the top of their menu they pride themselves on using “No preservatives, no additives ever, using the freshest ingredients available” which apparently includes Kraft Mac n cheese. For the record no children’s menu was provided (just voiced over) so we weren’t able to see the costs. Another thing to be aware of is roughly 1/4 of their entire menu is listed as MP (Market Price) which I can understand for some things but that seems to also be a bit of a bait and switch (pun intended) tactic. 3-Star food at a 5-star price. While the food overall wasn’t bad, the whole experience just put a bad taste in my mouth and ruined the night. Having read a lot of other positive reviews things may have changed recently (seems as though more negative reviews lately). I wonder if the restaurant recently changed ownership. Have a blessed day.

We just returned from a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Florida’s Fresh Grill. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite busy both inside & out, and we had not done “call ahead seating,” but as luck would have it, a table was available and we were seated immediately. Our waitress Wanda quickly appeared and filled us in on how the menu worked and showed us the specials. We ordered our beverages off the featured beverage list. Our drinks quickly appeared, the Maple Old Fashioned Cherry Pie with extra cherries for me, & the Gingerbread Espresso Martini for the hubs. Our young one went for a lemonade. Both of the bar drinks were strong, & wonderful, and the Martini was unique. We placed our appetizer order, the Avocado Crab Tower, and then hot bread and butter was brought to the table. The bread was garlicky with Parmesan, delicious! We requested a second loaf as my daughter loved it and ended up eating 1.5 loaves herself. The Avocado Crab Tower was large, delicious, and I could have easily made a meal out of it. It’s a definite don’t skip! For dinner the three of us enjoyed a large Caesar Salad, the Swordfish with Mango Salsa, garlic mashed potatoes, & the veg of the day, a sweet butternut squash, also the Ocean Mixed Grilled Shrimp & Sea Scallops with Jalapeño Bacon Cream Sauce, herbed rice & the butternut squash. Hubs also added a Chocolate Martini. Once we finished the appetizer, Wanda quickly delivered our hot, perfectly cooked meals, along with a fresh lemonade for my daughter. While we were eating Wanda checked in on us a couple of times to make sure all was okay, which it was. The Manager also stopped over to check on things. Everyone was very attentive but not intrusive. After my drink and sharing the Avocado Crab Tower, I barely made a dent in my meal. Wanda boxed it up for me, and I’m looking forward to delicious leftovers tomorrow. Even though we were all full, it is Christmas Eve, so we went for dessert. My daughter enjoyed a large bowl of Vanilla Ice Cream and hubs and I went for a shared Carrot Cake. I had a decaf coffee which was nice and strong, and hubs was served a beautiful Cappuccino with a rock candy stirrer. I managed one bite of the Carrot Cake and it was delicious. Hubs ate about half of it, so Wanda packed up what remained and we’ll enjoy it tomorrow when we’re not so full. The restaurant was busy as it is Christmas Eve, but Wanda was on top of everything and our food and beverages were absolutely perfect. Next time we’re in this area we will definitely make a return visit and hopefully Wanda will be our waitress again ;)
