WOWWWWW JUST WOWWW!! You have to come try this place ! If anyone reviews and gives less than a 5 star they are lying. Upon arrival we were greeted with so many smiles and attentiveness. My mom and I both ordered a platter - my mom with shrimp/filet mignon and mine was chicken/filet mignon. We honestly could have just ordered one and shared it because the portion was so large. For $14.95 I have no idea how they are making money because of the portion and the quality of the food. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! The steak was cooked to perfection, the chicken was moist, the rice was awesome, the carrots were a bit to sweet for me but my mom loved them so she ate those and the veggies were perfectly cooked. It even comes with mushroom broth soup and dipping sauce for the meat. Both were phenomenal. This is probably one of the only restaurants where if I could I would give it 10 stars. If we didn’t live so far I’d go here at least once a week. You get top quality meat and food for cheap and have 2-3 meals. The chef also stopped what he was doing to say thank you for coming in, goodbye and to enjoy the food as we left - like who does that nowadays. Amazing....
Read moreLast night was my first and certainly not last time I got takeout from Shoyu Express. I placed my order for two chicken hibachi entrees and then went to Publix to pick up a few items. When I was done, I had my grandson run in and get our dinner. Seconds later he came out with a bag that probably weighed 3 pounds! I got home and inside the bag was our entrees, two containers of clear soup and four little containers of sauce plus chopsticks, forks and knives. A huge portion of fried rice was covered with hibachi chicken with the side sections filled with carrots and the other with grilled mushrooms and onions. This was a massive amount of food!! And it was excellent!! The chicken was perfectly cooked over a bed of real deal fried rice. The big chunks of steamed carrots and the perfectly grilled onions and mushrooms were excellent sides. This is a family run business and they couldn't be any nicer. The next time you get a hankering for a Pubsub walk over to Shoyu Express and get one of these Hibachi entrees, they only cost a couple of dollars more and are well worth it. They also have Poke bowls and combinations. Give them a try, you won't be...
Read moreMy hubby and I went to Shoyu hibachi express and poke bowl last night. They were very busy, but we still got our amazing food very quickly. We started with shrimp shumay, it was super tasty! (I was so busy eating I forgot to take a picture.)😬 My husband had the filet mingon and shrimp hibachi, he said it was cooked perfectly and he mentioned the veggies multiple times. I had (literally) THE BEST poke bowl I’ve ever eaten. All ingredients were fresh and super delicious. The tuna was amazing! But, what blew me away is that there were ingredients in the bowl I don’t normally like that I gobbled up like the ginger and the seaweed salad. Not only was the food outstanding, the employees were super friendly with big smiles on their faces, despite being so busy. This is my new favorite restaurant and I have to say, the people alone make the restaurant worth the drive from Melbourne; but trust me, the food along with massive portions make whatever travel time seem minuscule and are...
