Wyo Dough — Restaurant in Cody

Service was excellent. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and competent. She brought us waters ASAP, allowed us plenty of time to order, and kept up on us the whole time.

The food, unfortunately, did not elicit the same positive reaction as the service. The cheesy breadsticks had WAY too much garlic on them. My wife ordered the Hangover Burger and said it was “meh.” The fries that came with it were mushy and lacking in flavor - they tasted like they had been under a heat lamp (I tried them).

I ordered the Margarita pizza. I am truly perplexed as to how this place is touted as the best pizza in Cody?!?! I am VERY familiar with Neapolitan pizza (I have studied with master pizzaiolos and am currently training to gain my own Pizzaiolo certification, in addition to having dined on true Neapolitan pizza in Napoli, Italia), and Neapolitan style it was NOT.

The pizza was razor thin and similar in texture to a hard cracker. Not much different from an overcooked Torino’s Pizza. While the crust should be somewhat thin, it should also be soft w/ high edges. None of this was true. Lastly, the toppings were less-than-desirable. There did not appear to be any hand-crushed tomatoes, just sauce. The mozzarella tasted low-end and slid off of every piece. I couldn’t really even taste the basil, but they did put a decent amount of it on.

Anyone who has had truly great pizza will absolutely be disappointed if they receive a similar dish to what I ordered. I will...

I come to Cody about once a year for work. On my most recent trip I found Wyo Dough and the food looked really good. I ordered online and went to pick it up.

First off, the location is not marked as Wyo Dough, so it took me a minute to make sure I was in the right place. Then the nice young lady couldn't find the order and it took them a little bit to find it and get it bagged up for me.

When I got back to my hotel there were no utensils. Not sure how they expected me to eat my dinner.

I ordered the calzone and the veggies in it were totally uncooked and way overpowered the flavors of the other of the cheese and meats.

There was no dressing for the side salad, but since there were no utensils all I really did was pick off the tomatoes and bacon.

I was very disappointed overall, and on my next trip...

The pizza was good. We didn’t get our “appetizer” until the end of our meal; our server made a few excuses when we asked about it such as “a large table just put in an order” (we ordered before them) and “oh it’s 30 seconds away from being ready” and didn’t come out for another 10 minutes, when we were done eating. She still brought them to our table and charged us for it and the app just so happened to be the last thing on the bill… so clearly she forgot to put our order in, and instead of being truthful and asking us if we still wanted it, she lied about it.
