Dunkin' — Restaurant in Colchester

I'm givin Dunkin 3 stars all across the board cuz 3 stars is in the dead center. And here's why... now ya gotta have an open mind to understand exactly what and how I'm trying to explain this...so here we go. First off ( and this is a quick one) but in all honesty, I am definitely not a fan of their coffee. I've been saying this since I started drinking Dunkin "DONUTS" coffee but their coffee kinda sux. I find it hard to believe that America runs in Dunkin cuz their coffee at best is cheesy cup of heated up brown water. Cumbys coffee or ur local gas stations coffee is superior to Dunkin's coffee. The food is ok and the service is hit or miss. And here's the reason for only 3 stars rather than the 5 they once deserved. Dunkins problem is the same reason y college football is better to watch than the NFL. College players give it all they got cuz they are trying to reach the top. The NFL, well, there's no higher to go. The NFL is the top of that mountain so y should they push harder and harder. Won't go any higher. That's dunkins problem. They reached the top of the mountain, they are a billion dollar franchise. So the coffee is meh, the food is meh, the quality of the jelly donuts depleted, and the service is hit or miss.... and y is that ok. Cuz Dunkin reached the top. There are thousands of stores all over the world. If the service of a couple of their employees sux, so what... right. Well, that right there is y they go no further than average in my eyes. Really, the only way Id be able to rate Dunkin is...

3/2/25 3:15 pm - nice guy was taking my order, a donut and I asked for a medium cup of ice. I hear a whisper of someone saying “no she can’t” and then the guy begins to tell me I can’t have the ice before he was cut off by a lady screaming at me about how I can’t have the ice and something something about cup sizes and corporate policy, I couldn’t even comprehend what she was yelling at me I was so shocked. I wait for her to finish whatever she’s screaming at me and then tell her there’s no need to yell at me, she tones down half a notch and “apologizes” still very loudly. I told them to never mind on the order and drove off. I’m appalled and confused on where the escalation came from. I see multiple reviews complaining about who I’m assuming is the same woman. I have never been yelled at like that by a stranger, an employee! I pray she gets fired and I pray for the nice boy who is stuck working in that...

I usually don’t write bad reviews because I believe everyone has a difference in experience however this is my THIRD time going to this dunkin since moving to the town and not only do they constantly mess up my order when I tell them about it upon my return there’s no empathy or anything done to make me feel like a valued customer. I truly do not recommend this place if you’re not a “regular” because they clearly don’t care about the rest of us just trying to grab a cup of VANILLA CHAI TEA on their way to work. Worst dunkin by far. Even in Hartford they take the time to listen to your order and jot speak over you. If I could rate it 0...
