I went to the starbucks in Colchester CT, I wasnt sure what i wanted, my girl is deaf mute and we were taking sign language we asked a,question one of the attendants older lady seems to be in a,bad mood because we asked how many calories in a sandwich, she said if on the website, I didn't asked if it was or not on the website I asked for the calories as an employee she should have know it a customer service, I work in a casino always customers service I felt like I was not treated like a customer should have. I never had a problem before in the store always drive from Baltic to colchester because I thought it's one of the best. It didn’t have that pleasant smell that almost every Starbucks I’ve walked into had, inside the bakery display I saw two flies just crawling about the items, one fly was flying around inside the store, the tables were nasty and dirty with crumbs of food and coffee stains on the table tops and the barista countertops were probably even dirtier than the tables. I still had a coffee and ate a bakery item there just because I know they don’t use the display items for consumption and I had no where else to go. Plus, I like Starbucks. I know how they treat customers and I know this particular location was not even close to the company’s standards. Anyways, I would avoid this...
Read moreI believe this is due to staffing shortages they shut down the ability to walk in HOWEVER they didn't shut down ordering ahead on the mobile app. They put a sign up on the door that only drive thru opened. Would suggest turning off mobile app ( leave instructions for your staff) or put a table close to the door for pick up only. For folks that are counting they are only going to be quick picking up but instead spending 20 minutes in line making customers late for appointments.
