Besides another issue I had, which the owners did remedy to a very satisfactory resolution, I got home after my second trip there to exchange some wrong food out and find my wife opening the containers. So for $12+ we get a lot of broccoli and 5 very small and very thin peices of chicken in her chicken and broccoli large size order, as well as a few shreds of chicken in an order of chicken Mei fun. This place used to be my favorite place to the point I was bummed if they closed for a vacation and i wanted to not cook, but I'll say after multiple issues and let downs today I just can't muster up the strength to return and pay $12-$13 per dish that has near no protein when it's in the dishes name. I'm just so so disappointed because I didn't want to have to cook but now I need to provide a protein source for the family because it was just non-existent in the food we ordered. I feel really bad writing this because after agreeing that I would not write a review due to a compromise, I just can't let anyone else spend $50+ and get skimped on the "expensive" part of the dish. When I got home the second time and opened the sesame chicken, the container was barely 3/4 full AND had a layer of broccoli on the bottom so it wasn't even a normal size portion for the non-combination entree which made sharing among 4 people difficult. The reason for 3 stars across the board is because, in my opinion, the food is actually tasty. I'll definitely miss coming here but I'll just have to search out a new place. I wish this place all the best because the two owners seemed very nice, but that only gets so far. Customer service and food are the things that will keep people...
Read moreProbably one of the most disappointing experiences with Chinese take-out I've ever had. I ordered online, 4 items. Won-ton soup, Chicken fingers, Pork lo mien, and General Tso's Chicken. The soup. Too thick wrapper in an egg drop soup that had very little flavor other than a flavor I can only describe as a lemon-lime soda after taste. Chicken fingers: chicken was tender, but flavor less. Breading was way undercooked and still wet and doughy. Pork Lo Mien lacked flavor, noodles were way overcooked. General Tso's chicken: I've ordered this all over the country as it is one of my favorites. This ranked at the bottom of the list as far as I was concerned. Some of the toughest chicken pieces clearly done in a single fry (under fried at that) in a sauce that was neither spicy, nor tangy. Just goopy. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that the online ordering process was seamless, and they were nice when I picked...
Read moreFood was tasty but FAR too expensive. Portions have been reduced but prices increased. I used to be able to order a large chicken with broccoli, eat some chicken and all of the broccoli for dinner. I would then add my own broccoli to the leftover chicken and eat it as my lunch the next day! Not this time! There might have been 8-10 (at most) pieces of chicken and probably the same amount of broccoli florets. Very disappointed. I get that everything costs more AND I will pay for it, but there has to be a middle ground. I paid $30 including tip for food that would have cost them $8 (at most) to make...
