I ordered my breakfast 20 minutes before I showed up at the location. 5 minutes before I showed up I got a message saying that they were just then preparing my order. I waited an additional 30 minutes before I I had to leave because they did not make my food and I was going to be late for work. Meanwhile, there's a lobby full of people about 30 deep and drive-thru orders are moving through very quickly. They prioritized drive-thru instead of in-store or mobile pickup orders which forced an entire lobby full of people to wait 20 or 30 minutes for food that should take less than five. I paid for this food as well but I had to leave before I could even get it. Absolutely freaking insane. I worked at McDonald's before and never was there a person waiting for a half an hour for something, never!
EDIT: after calling 5 times and being hung up on 4 of them I was told that I would need to return to get a refund I paid for in the app. No giving contact info or order information, just no. There was no contact on the first 4 phone calls, either. Just 4 phone calls by me and each one was answered solely to hang up and stop the phone from ringing.The employee also initially told me that they couldn't do a refund and that it needed to be done through the app, the app says it needs to be done through the store originally purchased at. This whole situation is mind boggling. I just wanted my breakfast! Not an insane amount of aggravation. I get these employees don't get paid enough, I've been trying to take all this into consideration but the company as a whole is not only not compensating them properly but also not training them properly or ensuring a positive...
Read moreI had an issue with an employee and I spoke with the store manager and they saw to it that it was remedied. The "employee" lied and stated he would need to charge me for ketchup, mind you I purchased 2 large fries and he handed me 5 ketchup total. I asked him " can I please have sum more" he asked me "how much more" I said "double that plz that would've been 10 total or so, which yes sounds like slot but for two large dries 5 packets is abt right... He then says to me "if you want more ketchup you need to pay for it" ugh this guy's wrong there's NO POLICY for ketchup to be SOLD. extra sauces in the white cups with foil top are extra but only if you want more than what comes with the item. But this guy was straight up NOT GIVING ENOUGH FOR EVEN ONE LARGE FRY. And to add insult to injury when I told him that he shouldn't be charging for ketchup he says "ima manager I can do what I want" oh hellllll no, once he said that I was definitely going to be talking to the store manager. I felt so disrespected and a lil unsafe. He was quite aggressive in our conversation. I really hope he was fired, he rely should never treat a customer that way and being a manager doing that is totally unacceptable they're supposed to be role models. And if they let him get awaybwith that then everyone will think hey I can get away with that too. And the you end up with a bad McDonald's. I've been avoiding the restaurant at night because i do noooooot want to run into that guy before they fire him for multiple reasons. Read moreWent to this drive through on Saturday 1-27-24… as with some McDonald’s drive throughs the 1st window had no one at it to pay so I moved forward to pay and receive my order. The very pleasant lady at the 2nd window handed me my order and being HONEST I told her I hadn’t paid yet and she looked puzzled and said it shows you’ve paid. I said no I didn’t because there was no one at the first window when I stopped. She said ok hold on (still holding my card). She disappeared and came back with who I assume was the manager that particular night. He looked at me with disgust and said you didn’t pay at the first window? I said no no one was there!! He looked up at the screen and then yelled…(at ME) “ YOU SCREWED UP MY WHOLE LINE!! NOW I GOTTA GO BACK AND FIX EVERYTHING!! YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID AT THE FIRST WINDOW!! (Even though there was no one AT the first window!) he told the lady to “NEVER MIND” and she gave me my card back.. THAT manager had NOT ONE OUNCE of customer service… had I not been in a hurry I would have WENT IN TO “SPEAK” with him about the way I was treated!!! ABSOLUTELY UNCALLED FOR!!!
