Atlanta Hawks Bar and Grill — Restaurant in College Park

If i can give this restaurant a negative 10 stars for customer service i would. First of all its the day of the superbowl and myself and family of 3 wanted to sit and have a meal and drinks. It was very crowded so we patiently waited for an available space. Someone left from the bar so i decided to take that chair and order for the three of us. I asked for three drinks and some nachos w/ cheese the bartender informed me the kitchen was closed for a few because the cook went on break so i told him ill take the drinks and wait on the cook to return. A caucasian lady next to me said well i guess ill have to wait as well he then told her he'll go back and make her order for her since she's been waiting (first issue ). He then proceeds to take another patrons (caucasian male ) drink order and made his drink and gave it to him. All while me and my family still waiting on our 3 drinks. ( second issue ) After he gives him his drink he proceeds to the kitchen to make the ladies food order. All while me and my family is still waiting on drinks. I waited another 3-4 minutes and he never returned to make our drinks. I politely went to the kitchen window and told him i didnt want the drinks. And as i went somewhere else i decided to read the reviews and its the same issue for months with the same server bald male and as i learned his name is sergio. And while we as a country have made great progress with racism this is a prime example on how we cannot ignore the fact racism still exists and unfortunately too many times companies ignore complaints as this company has because theres too many of the same complaints about the same person from months ago and he still hasnt been removed. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was horrible. I had a 3 hour layover I was going to sit and drink and relax and watch basketball, and I would have had I not felt rushed right out the door. I sat down and he asked what I wanted I put my order in, after I got my food and drink he did not check on me one time, or ask how it was. The kid who brought my food out was who I had to ask for extra sauce,because my server sure wasnt going to bring me any. Then when I had eaten half my sandwich I was going to put the other half in a box and stay to keep drinking! The server must have noticed that I was done eating because without asking me if I wanted anything else or a box he just dropped my check on my table without a word. I had to ask the bartender for a box because the server must not have heard me ask the 2 times he passed by my table. I was a server for years and years so I still left him just under 20 percent but had I not felt rushed and ignored, and left because of it, he wouldve made much more off me, not to mention we all know how expensive airport drinks are, so had I stayed 2 more hours I wouldve dedinetly spent a hefty chunk. What’s with the attitude? I ordered some breakfast, gave my credit card and was waiting for the food while checking emails on my phone. I hadn’t signed the check because the service hadn’t been the greatest until then and I was really hoping to get some better treatment before deciding on the tip. The bald guy came and started stomping the pen in front of me and said that you have to sign it now. Even when I said I’m waiting on the food, he said doesn’t matter, you still have to sign it now. Well, after that I just signed with no tip and went back to checking my phone. He comes back and starts saying what’s my problem and that I was giving him bad attitude. I simply said that I didn’t like being forced into signing before the food arrived. He then starts yelling that he doesn’t like my attitude. I repeated that I hadn’t said anything until then but if this is the behavior I’m going to get, then my attitude will get bad.
