Chopt Creative Salad Co. — Restaurant in College Park

Pretty terrible first experience here 😕 had heard about fast service, but the time from when I placed to when I received the order was 45minutes. Looked like they were short staffed and had a big order come in, but tensions were pretty high with the staff worming but no getting along the greatest.

I was being patient once I saw what was going on, but I think what made it worse was when people who were waiting too (but behind me on the que) would ask the employees about their order - which would then come out next - pushing me farther and farther back.

Then once I got my order staff werent the nicest and put it in a spot where I had to ask people to move so I could reach it, instead of a few feet over where the bar was clear.

Pretty disappointed not sure ill be back

*edit: genuinely not trying to be harsh, but think I just got really unlucky. About 1/3 of my chicken ended up being chewy fat/skin. Hope it wasnt out of spite for me asking for my order. Very hard to...

This is one of the newest locations in Maryland. Very good service. Has 4 kiosks to order from and staff available to take orders.

On my first visit was greeting by smiles. Customer service is nice.

This location offers kids meals.

Parking is there. Must go down the alley and make a right after Insomnia Cookies. Parking is free in the garage for 15 mins only. $2 an hour. There is make shift Parking right in front of restaurant but would only use it for to go. Caution: Alley is one-way.

Only challenge is ordering on one of the kiosks. Tends to lag and does not allow you to put dressing on the side even when tapped.

Upon arrival I noticed there were Kiosk. So, I waited to speak with someone and was told this is 4.0 Chopt. AI does it again, eradicating the human to human experience. However, what I loved about Chopt was having the experience to see my salad being prepared to my exact likings. Overall, the salad turned out delicious. I had to speak around the bar to add customized things like fresh squeeze lemon and extra chopped. If It wasn’t for the staff accommodating my order, I wouldn’t come back.
