From the moment I walked in, I knew Honey Pig was that spot. Jason greeted me with such genuine warmth that it set the tone for the whole evening.

I came for dinner and went with the AYCE Side B menu, but what made it truly memorable was Rachel—my server, hype woman, and guide for the night. She was so attentive and kind, I almost forgot she had other tables! I let her take the lead on suggestions, and I’m glad I did because everything she recommended hit the spot.

I kicked things off with a Citronella Highball—light, citrusy, and just what I needed to settle in. The beef brisket, spicy pork belly, and boneless beef rib were sizzling, juicy, and full of flavor. I paired them with white rice and loaded up on sauces—the garlic, yum yum, sesame oil w/salt, Honey Pig spicy sauce (which gave major gochujang energy). The green onion salad was the unexpected star—fresh, julienned, perfectly dressed, and so addictive I ditched the cucumber salad completely. Super fresh, tangy, and satisfying.

Portions were perfectly sized, too—not overwhelming, not skimpy—so you won’t have to stress about that $10 charge for leftover waste. You actually get to enjoy your meal without the pressure.

The whole staff made the night smooth. Jason was the host and made me feel welcome from the jump, and Emma made sure my grill was good to go. Before I left, Jason and Richard checked in—and I told them what I’m telling you now: I’m already plotting my return this week. Definitely going to try the rice noodles, bean sprouts, stir-fried fish cake, more brisket, and thin-sliced pork belly.

Nice industrial vibe w/flawless service - Honey Pig delivered a flavorful, memorable experience that hit every mark....

We went just after opening at 11:00am on Sunday. Parking is free on Sunday. No wait, place is huge and was nearly empty, though quite a few people arrived while we were there. We had the $28 all-you-can-eat. Unless you desperately crave steak, shrimp, squid, or octopus, I don't know that the $38 is worth the extra ten bucks, but that's up to you. We got beef bulgogi, garlic pork, curry chicken, rice, Gyeranjjim (puffy seasoned steamed egg), and dumplings. Came with three sauces (a fourth with the dumplings), one of which was spicy, the others were not, all were good.

Food was excellent. You get to grill it yourself, but our waitperson, Ada, was there to advise. She visited often, making sure we never lacked anything we needed. Very nice personality, too. Raw meat was delivered by a robot (with Ada nearby). I'm not big on robots in restaurants, but this did seem to protect against cross-contamination of raw meats, and Ada shepherded the robot, so it's not there to replace her.

Except for a couple of bones in the pork (hey, that happens), everything was perfect. Now, get this: They don't allow tipping! We asked Ada if that was okay with her, and she said the job paid well enough to not miss it. As a past waiter myself, I can tell you that decent wages with no tips would have been my preference too. A nice alternative to another Korean BBQ not far away that simply adds 18% to your bill as a "tip" you don't have any control over yourself.

If you're looking for Korean BBQ in College Park, this is the...

Undeniably, Honey Pig is a great option for a low-priced KBBQ experience. The AYCE menus were around the $30, which is significantly less than your average joint. I quickly found that the serving sizes accounted for this though - both sides and meats were about half the size they arguably should be. This undoubtedly forces the customer to spend more time cooking and ordering to cut the losses of that bargain price. I understand this is a necessary move, but it became an annoyance when the meat itself all felt poor quality.

In the middle of our meal, after about a round of ordering, staff told our table the beef was spoiled (after we had already ordered and eaten it !!) I have to assume this was an unfortunate situation, but it certainly killed my appetite. So I was left with lackluster quantity, quality, and now satisfaction.

Everything else about this location is fantastic. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The dining area is well lit and not too loud, which is rare in a KBBQ spot. It’s safe to say I’ll just shell out the extra bucks to get a higher quality experience at a different spot next...

I had a great experience at Honey Pig Korean BBQ in College Park. The food was delicious—everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and high quality. The variety of meats and side dishes really hit the spot, and the portions were generous. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and helped make the experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming. It had a fun, energetic vibe with a modern Korean BBQ feel. Whether you’re going out with friends or just craving some quality grilled meat, Honey Pig is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for sure.
