Goldberg’s — Restaurant in College Park

The lady that took my order was extremely rude. She calls me over to take my order and then just stands there and says nothing. You think as a customer, the one taking your order would say hi what can I get you or something along the lines but she seemed almost irritated that I didn’t immediately start ordering. She couldn’t understand what I was ordering and I had to repeat myself multiple times because she had her AirPods in the whole time talking on the phone, cussing, talking about her personal life while half ass doing her job. You think showing up to work you could be without talking to your friends on the phone for a shift but to do that while being extremely impolite and unpleasant is just unprofessional...

I ordered an asiago and cream cheese bagel from here this morning, and it was the best bagel I've ever had. The bagel was big and so flavorful, and it was toasted to perfection. The amount of cream cheese was also super generous! I also ordered a mocha iced coffee, and it was nice and chocolaty and definitely tasted like high-quality coffee to me. The lady who took my order was really polite and pleasant too, and I only wish I had gotten her name for the sake of this review. She was tall and had her hair styled in an afro, and her pleasant demeanor was off the charts. Props to whomever prepared my order and had it ready in less than 5 minutes as well!

Very slow service, only 2 employees on a busy Friday morning and seems like not much effort has been put into making this location efficient. I know people dislike the self-service kiosks, but if you have trouble getting enough employees, eliminating order-taking and payment from employee responsibility would make service a lot quicker. I will avoid this location in the future unless there isn't anyone in line...
