ATL C16 Starbucks, I did a mobile order 10/21/2023, nothing special, Pumpkin Frap and Pumpkin chia tea. Now I know ordering a mobile order does not mean that it's "on demand" and that it is in the order received. I stood, behind the sliver line to the right, for 40 minutes. I watched the line get cleared 3 times and 2 crowds get their drinks but mine was still not called. I double checked and I did order from C16 in ATL. I walked up and very nicely asked the lady with the pink or red braids, do ya'll have my order I have been waiting for 40 minutes. She begins to yell very loudly that everyone is waiting for a drink and that if I ordered a mobile order that it was not on demand and look at all these people waiting, what's your name? I told her my name and she said yes, yes we have it, see all these people waiting. I stepped back embarrassed at to why she would publicly shame me for asking if they even had my order, I walked back and waited another 10 minutes and I went to the counter again to make sure they had it because I needed to start walking to my concourse. She yelled again the same things pointing me out to everyone saying see, just because you order mobile doesn't mean on demand. I stood there in shock really that she is able to get away with treating someone like this. She started to call out someone's else order and I said ma'am, ma'am, she yelled louder and louder, I just stood there and got frustrated and started getting loud my self and said I didn't order mobile for special treatment I was just asking about my order. I walked away, I called 1800 Starbucks and someone refunded me my money. Please just know if you are passing through ATL don't go to C16 Starbucks, it's awful and you won't get your drink. I have been so upset about this for a few days and I don't even want to drink Starbucks anymore and will probably switch coffee spots because of this episode. Is this how Starbuck and the franchisees want to be view...
Read moreWe had an early flight to catch and in desperate need of a pick me up! Nothing wakes you up like coffee!!! The line was long. They could use a sign stating place orders here, pick up here and online orders. Most people were unaware of the set up. They were out of a few things ...like oatmilk and breakfast food items..along with certain drinks. There was an issue with people waiting whether they placed an online order or in person. This is not a regular Starbucks location. There is only a set amount of people working in a small space. The airport is congested. Most people were in a rush to catch their flights. People were complaining about their online order not being ready. One of the Starbucks employees tried to explain that whether you placed the order online or in the actual ...physical line....drinks still need to be made. So essentially everyone must wait. The employee wasn't the most pleasant. There is a professional way of stating this but this was not that day! I could not imagine what being a barista is like in a very busy airport. Customers aren't very understanding. Employees are over worked and exhausted. Ugh. It's a recipe for disaster. I got my coffee and headed to my flight. Is this my favorite Starbucks? No. At least there is one if you need a quick fix. You don't go for great service but for necessity. Oh, they did not accept cash and I typically pay cash but I had my card handy. The young lady at the register was confused on the barcode I scanned ...stating it was the wrong one but it was not. I guess she was flustered. That long line full of irritated customers in a rush probably didn't help. My heart goes out to that crew. Glad I was on my way...
Read moreBEWARE of Concourse C Gate 16 Starbucks. Traveling through on New Years Day. The lady who seemed to be in charge is completely rotten! Mobile order time said 5-8 min, wasn’t in a hurry, gave it 10 min and headed down to pick it up. There was about 20 other people waiting patiently at the mobile order counter. This particular lady seemed to be moving intentionally slow, like she didn’t give a care in the world that there were so many people which I thought was odd but also, if that’s how you work under pressure then so be it. But, then she proceeds to shout at all of us waiting, “If you are waiting on a mobile order you need to be behind the line!” She wanted everyone around the corner where you can’t see or hear anything. 20 people crammed together around the corner behind a rope, I should’ve take a picture it was so ridiculous how these people were being treated and corralled like cows. Most everyone moved but she continued to yell at some stragglers. After about 10 min I decided to leave because the energy was so bad. When I came back there were more new people waiting near the area so of course she proceeded to shout again. This time I just stood where I was but she looked at me and shouted, “Mam, mam! If you do not move behind the line I will stop these orders!” Everyone was whispering how awful she was and her staff looked miserable. Nobody stood up to her though because they just wanted their coffee and I’m sure that’s why she acts that way. Finally got my drink about 30 min after ordering. Such a bad experience because of one lady. She had no business working in...
