I ended up NOT ORDERING. This McDonald's do not have a person take your order! You have to go to a Kiosk to electronically place your order and probably pay by credit card. I had a $20 bill and wanted to use it because I carry only five and one dollar bills. I had to go to an ATM machine and use my debit card for the first time since getting it 6 months ago. Well, that machine gave only 20 dollar bills. I try to never carry ten or twenty dollar bills. I usually purchase small priced items and the constant change making was annoying. By using 5 or 1 dollar bills I can make the change process work in my behalf. They are receiving the change and I am giving them the change, most of the time. I lesrned that and at age 80 I am not ready to order a hamburger and fries via a kiosk. So, I said, "Forget it. I do not know how to do that. And do not want to do that." I sat down and in about 10 minutes my airline started boarding. That worked out great. I was not in the middle of eating a hamburger and fries. So, if you like placing an order via a kiosk, then this is the place, the Atlanta, GA Airport. But I think it sucks to not personally wait on a customer. However, I can now see their point of view: #1. it frees up the workers from interface with people or, #2. dealing with money. #3. It gives the workers more time to just make sandwiches, #4. and just fill orders. Additionally, #5. It protects the...
Read moreLiterally one of the worst experiences I have ever been through. The attitudes of every team member was complete disdain and misery, no hesitating to tell every guest they can’t wait to leave when they decided not be on their phone. The nonchalant behavior walking literally as slowly as possible stopping midway to text and completely disregarding any guest. Rolling their eyes at every request and the manager literally encouraging this behavior by leading worse or just as bad as their team. They had no change for cash customers which may be policy but they turned away three guest because of that while I was waiting in line. I can only imagine they are open because they have a captive audience and people don’t have a ton of fast food choices. I would recommend anyone to pass by this place quickly before their bad attitude runs off and ruins your day. Carve out an extra 10 mins and go to chik fila or another establishment that appreciates your business. I wish you all the best, but I don’t see profits or guest experience improving with out a massive overhaul of the management and team or an intervention of some sort to make everyone understand they aren’t doing anyone a favor by showing up to a job they don’t appreciate....
Read moreManagement: get it together!! I would like to say ‘they were trying their best’ but I’m not sure that’s actually the case. Yes, it’s a busy airport location. But…my iced coffee was handed to me in a soda cup. I saw a frappe also in a soda cup. Yet an iced coffee 5 minutes later walked by in a normal iced coffee cup 🤷♀️ They were putting all fries in one size of bag, no matter what size anyone had ordered (I highly doubt 10-12 people in a row ordered small). I used the kiosk to order (later seeing them refuse service to a man who wanted to order in person) and was number 663. When I walked over to wait for my order they were calling number 621. I’d estimate 10-12 people came back with complaints while I was watching. The customer was def’ly never “always right” and would instead get argued with and/or ignored. I ordered a double cheeseburger and it had 2 buns, 2 extremely thin burgers, ~3T of onion and that’s it. I didn’t feel like waiting another half hour for the possibility of having it rectified. I would guess 5-10 people came close to missing their flights and missed getting their food. There was a growing pile of unclaimed bags atop the fry area. Management…seriously…you...
