Steady at 3.8⭐️. I did notice they have a restaurant in ATL when putting up this review but here we go... I wanted something home style food, so I came here before getting on my connecting flight. I will say, it has potential to be better. The selections were what you would find for southern tradition meals. Fried chicken, collard greens, yams, mashed potatoes, etc. I went with 2 piece baked chicken (white), collard greens and candied yams with half sweet/ half unsweet tea. Baked chicken had alittle too much black pepper in seasoning, collard greens were salty, but the candied yams were on point. The corn muffin should've been thrown away and not even served - very dry and over baked (borderline burnt). The half and half just tasted like very sweet tea. I can't even imagine what having sweet tea would've tasted like but there's a good chance it would've tasted like diabetes... 🤐 On the other hand, unrelated, the lady that was cleaning the tables was such a sweetheart (airport employee). She handed me napkins and went to get my utensils which I forgot at the store counter. Even after I was done eating what I could, I was cleaning my hands with some napkins when she approached me and offered hand sanitizer. If you see an older, short Asian lady, she's amazing. Come to think of it, I should've given her a hug but not sure how she would've felt...

I had the absolute honor of dining at Paschal’s, Atlanta’s award-winning, number one soul food restaurant, during a recent layover at the Atlanta airport. What truly sets this place apart is how they maintain their authentic, home-cooked flavors, even in the airport setting—something that’s rare to find!
The catfish was absolutely divine, and the greens were seasoned to perfection. But what made my experience unforgettable was the sweet older lady who served me. Her kindness and warm smile were a breath of fresh air. She didn’t skimp on portions either—my to-go cup was filled to the top with greens and yams. It was more than just a meal; it was an experience that uplifted my spirits after the hustle and bustle of airport travel.
While it was a bit challenging to find a place to sit due to the restaurant’s busy location, that was no reflection on Paschal’s itself. Just a heads-up: if you’re pressed for time, you might want to grab your food and head to your gate.
Overall, Paschal’s delivers exceptional service, delicious food, and the kind of warmth that makes even a hectic day feel brighter.

Read moreThe food is very good, but this one server is just awful. I ask her each time not to put my cornbread in my vegetables, but she does it anyway just to be horrible. I hope she heals!!!
Since the last post, I have avoided Pascals because of the same server. On June 23rd, I decided to get food again from Pascals, and this person is now the cashier. The minute she saw me, I knew she recognized me, and immediately, she ran to the back. Once she returned, I noticed her and the woman preparing my food slyly giggling, and Donyeatt, the name on my receipt, appeared to be doing something with my food as she stared at me mumbling something. I ended up tossing $13 worth of food because I strongly believe she may have done something disgusting to my food. This person seems to have some serious problems adapting to social norms. I have noticed she treats others unprofessionally as well. I most definitely will never return because this person seems troubled and I need to feel my food has not been tampered with. This is a fast food place, and not much is expected as far as service goes, but I should at least feel comfortable that my food will not make me sick. This person is exhibiting characteristics of someone who is deeply troubled. Get...
