RJ Bentley's — Restaurant in College Park

Had a really good panel at the 10th Annual CEEJH Symposium. After that I went out with some good friends who came with me. We ate at RJ Bentleys, got a Chicken Alfredo with a side Caesar salad. The place was really loud and had to constantly yell. Granted, it was near UMD with a bunch of college students so that’s not surprising. The Alfredo noodles were really good, my favorite part tbh. The chicken was good but a lil bit overcooked, I could taste some charred bits that weren’t great. The salad was fine, unfortunately they were out of ranch dressing and so they gave me blue cheese unbeknownst to me. I put it on there and was disappointed that the dressing overpowered the salad. I hate blue cheese, always have always will. Nonetheless, I had a great time with great friends, but definitely wouldn’t go back to...

They kicked me out of the bar for putting my hair up in a bun. The owner was beyond drunk, and all the employees apologized to me for the experience. DO NOT EVER GO TO BENTLEYS. Worst restaurant/bar experience in my entire life. I was appalled! Who kicks someone out of the bar for putting their hair up in a bun??? The beyond drunk owner had the audacity to say I was "washing my hair in his sink"???? WHO WASHES THEIR HAIR IN A BAR?!?!?! WHO WASHES THEIR HAIR IN A PUBLIC SINK!?!?!?!?! CRACKHEAD EXCUSE TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST A MINORITY. CLEARLY minorities are not welcome here! I was one of only 5-7 people of color at the bar, but just because I PUT MY HAIR IN A BUN it was enough of an excuse to single me out and kick me out of the establishment. RACISM IS ALIVE IN AMERICA! GO TO BENTLEYS AND EXPERIENCE...

WORST bar of the few College Park campus bars on Knox road. Corner Stone is better than Bentlys.aswell as T T... the Bently's GM is one step away from having a heart attack... i went there, ordered a drink, and went over to shake the GMs hand, he just mumbled some punk words to me as his eyes darted left and right all paranoia like. then the little girl "Manager" runs around the property yelling a bunch of blah blah ignorant non sense bull crap...so PLEASE dont pay any attention to her... its true that the bathrooms are gross and disgusting and a health hazzard, yet they COULD be fixed. they bartender couldnt even make a car bomb. this places staff helps ruin the night if you do decide to go to shitleys. the guys at the door will TRY to insult you publicly, but his insults invalid and not worth...
