I have eaten at the location on University, and have nothing but the best experiences.
This location was a complete disappointment. There was a $6 delivery fee. It surely did not look like a company vehicle, so I am not sure why they feel as though $6 is viable. You can say the packaging, but the price starts at $2 and over 4 miles it goes up. Since they charged me $6 to deliver, they are more than welcome to cover my tip. My order was only $30, so $6 is 20%, anyway. When I failed to designate a tip on my online order, they had the audacity to call me and ask if I wanted to leave the driver a tip. Sure, work for a company that doesn't act so entitled. Online, when you place an order, it states that drivers will not have contact or accept cash on deliveries. I found a place to give guidance for the deliver and I stated that I wanted the food left on the bench outside of my house, and to text so they didn't get my dogs started. My food was left on the ground and the doorbell rang, which.... Got the dogs started. The sesame chicken was excessively sweet, and over fried.
The rest of the food was good, but not as good as eating in at the University location. My tip is USUALLY $10 for food. Chef Coa's: You screwed your driver with your ridiculous...
Read moreOrder frequently through the two locations in town, online orders only. Stopped using the university location because the quality of food fell drastically. Began using this location, however in the last few months I've had delivery drivers try to hold my food hostage for a tip, and constantly get panhandled for tips by delivery drivers even when special request orders are directly not followed.
Would rather delivery drivers go back to contactless and not bother knocking on my door. I order online simply to make sure my order is correct and that I do not have to interact with people.
"Owners response" is not from the owner, rather from the "manager". Apparently he doesn't know how to read the order history of the business he's supposed to run and I have documentation from their own website that has showed that I have left tips previously.
Tips have not been given as of late due to slow delivery (1 hour + delivery times), wrong orders, cold food, missing items, special requests not fulfilled. Tips are also meant as a way to encourage exceptional service, not a guarantee.
Have ordered multiple times a month for the last year or so, and will no longer be wasting my money to keep businesses with a manager that acts in the way that...
Read moreEDIT: Updating my review from one star to four after the GM of this location went above and beyond to discuss this issue with my wife and provide exemplary customer service. We consider this an unfortunate and isolated incident at this point and will continue to recommend their restaurant to others. Especially now that we know this establishment is being run by above average management. We are grateful for how they have handled the problem we experienced. /EDIT
Wow, amazingly bad customer service. My wife just ordered a meal for us through Favor. The driver dropped off the completely wrong order. We messaged Favor, but then called the restaurant to see what we could do to get what we ordered. The person answering the phone at the current time was no help, even when my wife asked if they could remake our meal and we would come pick it up and PAY again, the person just wanted to argue with us. Again the person WANTED TO ARGUE about us paying for another two meals from them. Wow. If this person keeps answering their phone they won't be in business...
