Sure, there are lots of donut/kolache shops around (Shipley’s, Babe’s, and Kolache Rolf’s to name a couple), but this place has them all beat. Their donuts are the perfect sweetness that doesn’t leave you feeling like you’re choking on sugar, but it really satisfies your sweet tooth, too. I go in there all the time and no matter the time of morning, 5 a.m. or 11 a.m. after the church rush, they are always so consistent. I’ve gotten so many types of donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches here and I’m always impressed. And not only is the food amazing, so is the staff! Everyone I meet when I step into that small shop greets me with a warm smile, and their beautiful hearts are always so friendly. They always throw in a couple extra donut holes, and even though I’ve grown to know they’re coming, they brighten my day every time!! I know a Krispy Kreme is planned to open up right across the street, and Krispy Kreme really is heavenly, but please y’all, don’t ever forget about this place and keep visiting those amazing people who work hard to put some deliciously decadent donuts on display!!
