Very disappointed with your place of business. Placed an online order 4 days ago to pickup today at 2pm. Called to confirm order and that I would be running late. Girl said it was no problem. Arrive to pickup my pre ordered cake for a birthday party this evening only to find out they are out of milk and ice cream and were unable to make my ice cream cake. Again pre ordered 4 days ago. No phone call to let me know that you were unable to make the cake. Lied to by your manager Rylie that she had been trying to call me. I’ll be happy to pull my phone records to show no call was ever made to me. She did offer me a 5.00 mini cake which was even more of a slap in the face. Luckily you do have an outstanding employee named Carla at the Acworth location who provided me a cookie cake to substitute the original 40.00 ice cream cake so I had something for the birthday party this evening. Can’t even bring myself to give you 1 star rating after what I experienced today but in order to post this I have to mark at least 1 star but please understand my rating is no stars!!!!! When asked about getting a refund Rylie stated it would take a couple days and she would have to get permission from the owner!!! What???? Permission to refund me for something I didn’t get? Why did I have to even ask about a refund? This should have been handled the minute you couldn’t make the cake. However I am pretty sure Kroger sells mayfield milk and ice cream!!! Like WTH type of establishment are you running? But again Carla stepped up will be handling the refund part as well. Maybe you need to send Rylie to the Acworth store so Carla can train her on how to manage a store or better yet maybe you as an owner need to step up and train her!!! Disappointed is an understatement on how I feel I was treated today and then for your manager to lie to my face has made it so much more...

I will never return again. It was extremely upsetting to see the carelessness of the staff. Initially I thought I was just observing inexperienced, young employees improperly handling food. From the gentleman due to his height with the long hair that has to stick his head side ways into the ice cream cooler without a hair net (I’m certain there is hair in there), the young lady with the long black hair dropping an ice cream cone on the floor and sitting it on the counter, and then the young African American lady picking the cone off the counter to dispose of it but never changed her gloves. She continued to walk around to touching everything.
My son received his chocolate ice cream shake only for him to say it tasted nasty. I sampled it and it tasted like peanut butter. I mentioned this to the staff to admit to me it was CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER ice cream. It was placed in the incorrect bin. My son has an allergy to peanuts. A true documented allergy. This incident could have gotten your facility closed down.
Let’s also discuss the lack of professionalism that occurred afterwards. The young man and the young, short blonde haired lady were fussing bc he told her to leave after making this deathly mistake. The store was filled with customers as they moved to the back of the store to continue to argue. Just know that these incidents will be reported to the department of health. Mistakes happen but when it comes to my child, I do not take these...
Read moreShould have read the reviews before coming here. Thought it would be like Coldstone's where they would mix the ice cream on a slab with toppings, but it's just scooped into a cup, had toppings thrown on top, and handed to you. We could have gone to the nearby Kroger and bought our own stuff for cheaper and better quality.
no menu, no prices. The screens are blank so you're going into this blind. staff didn't engage with you, didn't even seem to want to help you. They just stood there until someone talked to them and even then, it was short l, mumbled responses. The store was empty, they weren't bogged, otherwise I works have understood. several of the ice cream flavors were freezer burned and hard and a good bit of them were also missing. There were only a few toppings put out. The employee helping us struggled to get the ice cream out of the container. speaking of struggling to get the ice cream out. The employee that scooped my chosen flavor out, just about flung the ice cream out, caught the scoop with her chest/shirt, AND STILL PUT IT IN THE CUP. She glanced up to see if I saw, felt confident enough that I didn't, and carried on. At this point, no, I didn't want to say anything but I should have. We were all tired and I just wanted to leave with my family.
All in all.. just drive a little further away and go to Coldstone's. This was disappointing and...
