I ordered a hot BLT today and having ordered many hot sandwiches from many restaurants throughout my life, I thought it was understood that when you order a hot sandwich, the bread, cheese and meat are toasted and then the fresh cold vegetables are put on afterward. I got an extremely mushy soggy sandwich where the lettuce and tomato had been put through the oven and it was absolutely awful. Not only that but the sandwich used to be full of beautiful ingredients and had hardly anything in it now for the same price. Very sad blue Baker. I don’t think I’ll be back.

First time in! The issue is the menu as far as I can tell. While being very simplistic it does not give you all of the options. The only reason I even ordered the pepperoni rolls was because the lady in front of me ordered them and they are nowhere to be found on the menu :-) they were to die for delicious! Definitely we'll try other things on our future visits but the outside space was nice to be able to bring our "child" to on such a nice day.

Leaving a lot to be desired. First it's too expensive in comparison to places like Jason's Deli or McAlisters (portion size:$) The guy taking the order needs to learn the system or listen better. He had a hard time. Decor is nice and shop is clean. Food quality is a 4 of 5 but as I said the portions are too small for the price.

Blue Baker, More Like Blue Balls!

I've given this place multiple attempts to please my cravings for fresh bread because I expect a place with the name "Blue Baker" to at least somewhat attempt at fresh, delicious, and healthy experience. I honestly don't know where to start but I'll start with the overly tough bread. I'm no expert in the art of making bread (and neither are they) but a quick Google search tells me that tough bread is one or two things, over kneeding and too much gluten. They can't even make there bread not tough. Secondly, I'm not into the gluten-free diet, however, my girlfriend has an allergy to gluten. So usually when we go to a bakery she can order a salad that I am usually jealous of; however, there salads here are awful. The lettuce is overly saturated when you begin eating. (She ordered a Caesar salad, which usually is tossed with the dressing because it can be thick and won't mix well onto the lettuce but they don't do that here for some dumbass reason) I'm not sure how to make a bad salad, and trust me I've tried, but do not under any circumstance order a salad. Now to my order, I got rueben sandwich that was cold (why?) and there was something not rye with it. HOW CAN YOU MAKE A CLASSIC SANDWICH WRONG?? Go to ANY recipe website, type in "How to make a rueben" and boom! A sandwich so good your face literally melts. In case you want to know, it's corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and a Russian dressing (thousand island is my go to) between twoslices of TOASTED RYE BREAD. Now you know and you can go make one rather than eat this garbage.

I would really love to know how a company can be in business for sixteen years and fail to have a decent slice of bread. That should be goal #1. If you're going to get anything, get the pizza. Or better yet just avoid this place Subway is write around the corner. It's not perfect but ahella lot...

This place needs a very serious cleaning. Brought my family here and there were pieces of food, crumbs, and other debris all around the booth seats and in the cracks of the seats, food residue on the table, the bathroom was filthy, and there were dust piles everywhere, even on the light fixtures. I left feeling like I needed a shower. I understand if you’ve got a younger staff that could care less about the presentation of your restaurant, but if you want people to come back and actually feel welcome and comfortable dining in your establishment, please take some pride in it and clean it up. I also found a crumbled piece of foil in my salad. Not sure I’ll be returning. We were seriously grossed out by this visit.

*UPDATED:

So we came back, got dinner to go in drive through, took it home to discover my daughter’s bread for her soup was missing. While there is no charge for the bread, management still could’ve responded with something better than, “oh, sorry, we have just been busy.” Isn’t that what restaurants do? They care about the customer’s experience and the quality of what they’re selling, right? Evidently management here couldn’t care less and couldn’t be bothered. Really feels like management and employee conscientiousness here has gone significantly downhill over the last year or so. No attention to detail or concern for...

It's nothing about the ppl as to why 3 Stars vs 5 that the other BB's get from me. But rather, it's cuz I order from BB 9-12 times/WK and if the app says I'm closest to this one, bam, I'll choose here. And INEVITABLY, the app says this location doesn't have 1 or 2 of the items, ggrrr. Welp, today, the app says this store has all the items, bingo, I finally get to visit this store. Walk in, DENIED, they are outta something AGAIN!! ugh, what is it about THIS store??!!?? Update on 5/23/19 due to response from management. Before the app came out, I DID call in my orders. The service at this locale the first 3 times I called in, was phenomenal, they'd say they didn't have the items at this Blue Baker but the one on Dominik or University do. On the 4th call, all I got was, oohhh, sorry, we're out of that at the moment, do you want to call another store? So whether calling or using app, wanting soup, Pizza, bread, sandwiches, cookies it doesn't matter, I've yet to be able to use this location and get the complete order of what I'm wanting to request. And the latest I'm even trying to place order requests is 1:30pm. So it's not like it's 8pm and understandably, items would be sold out, nope, it's...
