Ordered at 640pm. Was told 85-95 minute wait. That's fine I understand, it gets busy sometimes. 95 mins comes and goes so at 820pm we call as the wife has a missed call from the store. We're told "we dont have an order in their system. Finally at 826pm we're informed that the GM left the store at 824pm with our order. 845pm: I call again because no one have shown up to our house less than 2 miles away. Again I'm told that there's no order and I cant speak to the GM because he's out on delivery. I pull up my email confirmation for my order, give the shift lead the confirmation number, an lo and behold there's my order! However, Mr shift lead says the GM left the store at 715 with my order and arrived back at 824 because no one answered the door. Bull. I was ten feet away, on my couch, with an excitable dog laying down in front of me. No one came to my f'ing door. If they did, why would it take over an hour for a 3 mile round trip? Why did the clueless girl on the previously state that he was just leaving at 824? Why did it take 3 f'ing phone calls after to get them to refund my order they told me twice they didnt have?
I also checked their store location on the website after I hung up yet again. Turns out, the website now says "Closed for deliveries due to inclement weather". Funny how I can pick another store 5 miles away that will deliver just fine.
This used to be my go to....
Read moreIf there were negative stars, this ridiculous place would get it. My boyfriend ordered his pizza around 8 pm for delivery. They ended up delivering half of the wrong order (one pizza was right, the other wrong). For the next hour and a half they were telling him "it'll be another 36 minutes, we're low on drivers". Every time he called they told him it was on it's way. Around 9:30 he calls back and they tell him the driver is in the neighborhood, they'll be there soon. 30 minutes later STILL no pizza and we live only 2 miles away! He calls back and tells them he's going to just pick it up. We get there and I ask to speak to the manager. Two hours for a pizza is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they keep telling him it's on the way. If it's going to take two hours to deliver, THEN SAY THAT! The manager is a shifty looking little dude with big earrings, completely rude and unprofessional. He refuses to come speak to us at the front but hides behind the pizza boxes. When I ask why my boyfriend kept being told it was on it's way, he said "we're short on drivers" and then proceeded to ignore me! Worst manager ever. Worst customer service ever. Papa John's mediocre pizza isn't worth the trouble. Do yourself a favor and go to Pizza Hut or Domino's or Hungry Howie's,...
Read moreLongtime customer. Recently the prices have increased leaving the cheapest large pepperoni at 12.99. Papa John's corporate says that most stores a 7.99 carryout special but the store says that aren't allowed to offer carryout specials anymore. College Station residents are lucky enough to be near a location that doesn't participate in this. There is another pizza location within walking distance of this store and I have yet to pay over 10 dollars for a large there. Pizza also tastes better at this nearby location. Papa John's employees are always nice. 4 and 5 dollars is the difference in price between Papa John's and nearby location. That difference in price adds up over time. Won't say that I won't go back to Papa John's but there are competitors offering better products for lower prices. I think the management and franchisee need to be aware of this. With this nearby location I get pizza specials emailed to me whereas Papa John's always seems to be trying sell a Papadia. Papa John's needs to understand that College Station is a college town so cheap pizzas are easy to find. Unfortunately Papa John's has fallen into the higher...
