Amazing Pizza and Friendly Atmosphere! Marzella's Pizzeria has been my favorite pizza spot for many years and they never disappoint! The pizza is absolutely delicious with generous toppings that always taste fresh and high quality. But it’s not just about the pizza, the cheese fries and cheesesteaks are also fantastic. They’re always fresh, flavorful, and a perfect complement to any meal. Marzella's is truly a staple in the community. They’ve been a favorite among locals for years, and they’re especially loved by Ursinus students, who can always count on them for a great meal. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make sure everything is perfect every time I visit. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I’ve also noticed a review mentioning the TV program on display and I just wanted to share that the staff has always been accommodating if I requested a different channel to be played. It’s just another way they go above and beyond to make customers feel at home. If you’re a pizza lover, or just love good food in general, Marzella’s is a must try. Highly recommended!

Very good food. We ordered for takeout and within 15/20 minutes everything was ready. Their cheesesteak Stromboli is the best I’ve ever had. We added onion pepper and mushrooms. We also had a chicken cheesesteak (also delicious and imo way better than chicken cheesesteaks from a lot of other places around or even in the city). The garlic knots had a very good texture but I think they lacked a bit of flavor. Overall I highly recommend, the personnel was very friendly. Will go back

Don’t eat here. I’m calling the Health Department.

I’ve ordered from Marzellas for decades—decades. The last 10 years it has gone downhill. But tonight I actually had disgusting food with multiple long hair strands in it. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for delivery, crust VERY well done. I paid in cash and tipped very well. The pizza was so floppy that When I picked up a piece, everything slid off. Well done? Far, far from it. The pepperoni was still almost cold, not cooked.

So I called Marzellas. I spoke with the woman Who initially took my order, and she was very lovely and apologetic. She asked if I could hold, so I said yes, after which a snotty young man got on the phone who spoke in single words, not even full sentences, and basically said nothing. But even “Sorry.” DEFINITELY didn’t even say anything about how could he make this right. He hung up after “Oh well.” Applying. Mommy son and I start to eat some more. Two more bites into the fist slice and I get a LONG hair coming out of the pizza. I’m astounded. So I call back and this time I get the same young man who I held for on the phone the first time. I tell him what happened. I get a meek “sorry that happened to you.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” That’s what I said. I had gone into another room to make this second call, and as I’m saying what I said above, my son crack the door and shows me he’s pulling a long hair out of his slice of pizza. OMG. I tell the “manager” this as it’s happening and he says “well I talked to the chef. Don’t what an other pizza? “ I said yes—but we’re not eating it. It’s getting fed to our pets when it gets here and it looks like I’m cooking now when the whole point of ordering pizza from Marzellas was to avoid cooking. The food not only sucked but it was a clear health code violation, but the “customer service” from this jackass, monotone young man was next level. His does he even...

Everyone has different preferences for pizza so the style of the place will affect your rating. My overall opinion was the pizza was alright. I've had better but it wasn't horrible either. My review is just a description of what we ordered so you can see if the style fits your pallet.

We got two pizzas, the red veggie and bbq chicken

The Red Veggie was smothered in vegetables (tomato, broccoli, onion, mushroom) like a huge handful was dumped in the middle, and then smothered again in cheese. The sheer volume of veggies actually made the toppings section very moist. Even though there was a large mound of veggies, you really couldn't see any because there was a huge amount of cheese on top. The crust was very thin. The sauce was good but volume wise, was lighter than the average pizza we've gotten.

The BBQ chicken wasn't as good as the Red Veggie. There was very little bbq sauce so the pizza itself was fairly dry when eating it. The chicken pieces were good size, not shredded. The crust again was thin. The edges were a bit burnt. The biggest issue I had with this was the dryness that likely resulted from the low sauce volume.

So as stated originally, you might like this pizza, you might not. It depends on your pallet. Hopefully the aforementioned description helped with...
