Place is ok, decided to come back after 5 years as the 1st time here wasn't anything to rave about. Had a party of 7 on this 2nd trip for a birthday celebration. Place is very neat & spaciously open for people to have plenty of room around their tables. Service- was a bit poor, not sure if it's because good help is hard to find these days but our waitress was quite clueless & we didn't get tended to for at least 12min once we sat down without the place being really busy at all. Once our waitress finally came over we started placing our orders VERY VERY slowly as she kept telling us to wait as she was trying to type it into her iphone???(whatever happened to typical pen & notepad taking orders) She stopped us a few times to ask us how to spell certain dishes as well which was a little confusing to ask the patrons this question. Fast forward to the food, the sushi is & seems to be very fresh & flavorful. However the Korean food we ordered was nothing short of mediocre. I believe either the cooks/owner is catering wayyyyy too much to fit the American tastebuds as NONE of the Korean dishes we ordered tastes authentic at all. The galbi/bulgogi literally has the same taste/flavoring that really one's just chopped/other's sliced n spare rib style. None of the Korean side dishes had any flavor or spice to it & certain dishes were very salty. Being Korean myself I've eaten many many diff style kimchi from store bought/homemade/restaurants & only had one other time where I couldn't eat the kimchi at all due to how bad it was, well their kimchi just made #2. Its not a bad place to go if you want a laid back quieter vibe & for a large selection of sushi dishes, but if you're looking for a little bit more budget friendly menu & authentic Korean food drive 20 more minutes into Philadelphia as it'll give you more of the NY/CA/CH style delicious Korean food. The Korean menu is very very overpriced for the minimal amount...

The restaurant takes reservations and walk in but just be prepare to wait on busy days if that's what you decide to do. We were seated promptly by the owner and served lemon water right away. The menu is by scanning a QR code and it pulls everything up for dinner. I decided to get the spicy tonkatsu ramen, kimchi ramen, kimbap and a death wish roll level 4. The owner was awesome giving me a sample of a salmon salad on a chip which was very good. When the tonkatsu ramen came in I was surprised how well its was made very flavorful and rich in the broth. The kimchi ramen was loaded with Kimchi and had deep fried pork which was amazing. Kimbap was freshly made. Now the death wish roll was unique it had a spicy kick to it like ghost pepper sauce but it also had a deep fried tempura right it the middle. If your in the area and want both korean and japanese food...
