I love Braum's and have gone to this location frequently for almost 20 years. This location has gone downhill significantly over the past several months and I will not be back. I will go to the store in Hurst even though it is further away. I never post negative comments and only do so when I am mad enough to actually take the time to write one. My experience tonight was terrible. I placed my order (order number 549) at 6:20 p.m. At 6:31, I was called up to the register and told they did not have one of the items I ordered, the strawberry salad. No problem, I got a refund and ordered another item. That order was placed and I was given an additional order number (order number 555.) At 6:45, I finally got my first order and it was wrong in many ways but, I was going to let that go because it had taken so long. However, one of the items I specifically placed in that order was a hamburger with ketchup and pickles only. Instead, I got a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles only. Since my wife is allergic to cheese, this was not going to work so I took this back to the counter and asked that it be corrected. I heard someone in the back stating, "they ordered a cheeseburger, it's not my fault if they ordered the wrong thing." I looked on my receipt and indeed it does show a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles only so the cashier did not even get my order right when I had ordered it almost 30 minutes prior. They did correct that error and I sat down to wait for the second order that had to be made because of the mistake when I placed my first order. Finally, at 7 I got order 555 that had been placed at 6:31 and was able to take my cold first order home to eat it along with the second one. The customer service and quality of this Braum's is abysmal now and I would avoid it...
Read moreValerie was very disrespectful to her employees the entire we were there. She was reprimanding them for simple tasks and talking down to them every chance she got. She told one of the coworkers that he had to stay longer than scheduled. He responded that “[his] mom wouldn’t like that,” and “would make [him] quit.” All because there were a few tiny crumbs on the counter. She then continues about how he needs to finish a task and uses the analogy of when “your mom was giving birth she doesn’t stop and just give up.” My boyfriend had to interject and mention how it was inappropriate to bring that up at a restaurant where kids and customers can hear. Another guy working checkout was yelled out by her for a mistake. Then a older customer went to get her peppermint ice cream. The customer asked if it was her’s and she said “I don’t know, did you order it?” Just very rude and not a good time so the customer shrugged it off by saying it was a “learning experience,” but Valerie spoke back to them sharply saying, “he’s been here long enough to know what to do.” We were just trying to hang out and have some ice cream, but instead I had to watch employees be verbally abused. Valerie basically yelled at everyone in the store except for a girl. The girl also thought it was appropriate to talk down, boss around, and demand things from her coworkers. Other customers also looked shocked by what Valerie would say to her employees. Very inappropriate behavior from a supervisor/ manager.

Read moreNever go in the morning, the morning employees seem to not be trained well enough to handle ice cream servings! I have always visited this specific Braums store and I have always order a single vanilla scoop sunday with strawberries sauce, no sweep cream and no cherry, but with almonds on top. I have always received that but this is the first time I went in the morning at 9:16am in the drive-thru and they messed up our order. I ordered a Small vanilla soft serve in a cup for my dog but I got a junior size instead and my husband ordered a double dip in a cup and we got it in a cone and it melted quickly, and my strawberry Sunday did not have almonds and when we ask the woman said, we have to charge your for almonds multiple times even though we have always ask for it and we have always got them because I don't get sweep cream nor cherry, fair trait, right? Well, apparently the morning employees don't agreed even thought we asked before we pay, can you add almonds because I don't think she heard us through the microphone and the woman at the window said "the Sunday comes with almonds already and the price is the same". I would have not mind paying for almonds if I would have known it cost before my order was brought to me. After that they asked us to pull in around the co ner and when another woman brought our stuff every single things was wrong. Again, I rarely have messed up like this with the afternoon employees but the morning ones seem to not know what they are doing.
