Westlake Ace Hardware — Local services in Colleyville

Wow! I'm lost for words.... "WOW!" The people in this place are absolutely friendly and "HELPFUL!" This is the third time I've stopped at this location and I am absolutely happy with their service excellence!!! It's hard to describe but one a bad storm day about 2 weeks ago from 05/16/18... they expressed concern as to avoid high waters and that I and others should stay until the rain slows down. Now that's courtesy!! The time before that, they greeted us, so we greeted back and asked where they keep their door knobs and locks? The woman was measuring the shelf when we asked, she immediately stopped what she was doing and walked us to the location and offered us information needed. He jad NO issues in helping us by any means. On this day 05/16/18, I was totally lost for what I was looking for. I kind of tried to sneak away from yhe workers since I knew what I wanted but didn't know what I they (the item) were called. I did good on the store for about 3 minutes, busted.... I was greeted amd asked if they could help. I grinned and smiled with little embarrassment. So, I explained the racks that bolt down to the wall and I needed the brace that holds the shelves. We haven't been to this ACE Hardware in a while mostly because it isn't close by. First off if you haven't been, you should. It has been redone on the inside and it feels much bigger and more open than before. It always stocks so many items and it seemed to be much easier to find things.

We were in the area and decided to see if they might be carrying the primer I was looking for. They didn't have it, but Jess offered to pick it up at another ACE store and have it for me the next morning. Well, the next morning he calls and it's at his store. WOW, now that's SERVICE.

We purchased that and many other hard to find items that always are available at this location. We will be coming back here more often, even if it is further away than our local Lowe's or HD.

ACE is always great! Westlake ACE in Colleyville send to always have discounts on exactly what I need. Once, during the Christmas season, they had deep discounts on C9 bulbs in the exact color I was looking for. Most recently I went to another ACE for knife sharpening using their Resharp machine and it wouldn't turn on. So, I went Westlake ACE and not only did their machine work, but they doing a BOGO sharpening deal. So, instead of 6 knives at $9/each ($54) I got them all for the cost of 3! And that was discounted to $6.99 per knife (3*$6.99 = ~$21)! They only issue was the amount of time it took causing the one guy who could do it to be pulled away for parts and other service.
