Bad service. We walked in the door Saturday 3/16/2019 and we waited for 10 minutes. We got tired of waiting and went to the bathroom. When we came back from the bathroom we stood at the counter for 30 minutes. The IHop phone was on the counter so I decided to call to get someones attention. I called the line and when the phone rang one of the hostess came to pick it up and he said, " oh hey is anyone helping you? " I then hung the phone up as he said hello on the line I didn't tell him I was the one calling. Well we waited another 10 minutes as more people came in. A group that was about to pay told us they were slow getting their food and the waiter had no idea what to do because he was focusing on the table of young ladies. We finally got seated and got our drinks and this took all of 20 minutes. We immediately ordered and it took them 45 minutes to get our food and we didn't even get the full order, they bought our omelets but not the pancakes. A lady came in with street clothes and bedroom slippers and walked in the kitchen. They were so backed up that the lady came out the kitchen and wipped the table and she was sure to tell the customer, I don't even work here anymore!! " so if that's the case why was her feet hanging out in the kitchen around our food. Some young guy I GUESS worked there with dreds had on a white hoodie he looked like he was spaced out high and didn't do any work, just pacing. The younger guy in uniform was asking a group of girls that he was helping Do THEY SMOKE? Instead of working he wanted to get lit. This was the worst service I ever had at any IHop in all my life. I was very disappointed because I love IHop. They gotta do better I was really about to call the managers number that was posted on the wall from the IHOP phone while we waited...
Read moreDescent place to eat, but service is very slow. Tables get cleaned but the flooring is neglected. A hot chocolate is ordered , it was brought to us with the powder still at the bottom and we had to stir it ourselves. So far everything is disappointing. Food takes close to 40 minutes to be delivered for a table of 4. Plastic utensils are being used. Not looking to coming here ever again and would never recommend this place. Corporate needs to shut this place down until it can fully serve the community and its military service members that frequent this restaurant. Some greasy spooners have better service. You walk out of the restaurant and you are presented with the adorable smell of the dumpsters nearby.
I’ve accessed the link and have inputted my info. I have also returned to the restaurant and I have seen some changes made, from my last visit. I would say now work on the attentive part and let the employees be more respectful and take correct orders as stated by the customer and accepted. While there, I witnessed at least two customers having issues and it’s all on their part of being attentive and thorough on their bill and questioning what is being charged. As the owner, your goals can be met by hiring the right person and also assist in the kitchen as well, as many “I’m sorties” were being said during to long awaited meals. The over all establishments (esthetics, cleanliness, and appearance of the staff) was very appealing.
Drinks (water and coffee) were served shortly after being seated. About 2 minutes.
Today, I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It's described as "One cinnamon roll, sliced & French Toasted, topped with cinnamon roll filling & drizzled with cream cheese icing." I asked for No whipped topping and very little icing (as the photo shows it with a whipped topping). What was delived were two large cinnamon rolls sliced & French Toasted, with all the above. They ignored the request of No whipped topping, and there was enough icing to obscure the entire order. As well as the powdered sugar stuff (which I hate). Had that been in the description or photo, I would have asked for it to be left off as well. Not that it would have mattered in my opinion.
My last visit was equally disappointing, as the main order too far to long to be served. The server even stopped by several times to apologize for the wait. When served, my Chicken Fajita omelet was cold.
At the end of both visits, no attempt was made to adjust the bill with any discounts for the errors. I wouldn't expect a free meal, but a 1 - 3 % discount would show concern over the customers displeasure.
This will be my last visit, as I was unable to finish either meals do to its quality...
