I ate at Anthony's, today, and had a very good experience. First, to describe the place: pretty small (8 tables) building, but has a full bar, an openly visible (clean) kitchen, and all tables/floor/counters were tidy and clean. Second, the food was good. Not amazing, but I don't think it's really fair to review a place on their pizza-by-the-slice, which is what I had. I ordered 2 slices, they came out pretty quickly, and were good. They were very large (1/8 of a 22" pizza), the crust was light and a little crunchy, and the piece that I added toppings to was loaded. The cheese garlic bread was VERY good (suggested by the staff - and was available in a single portion size). Third, the staff was extraordinary. One guy was manning the front and taking orders. He was very polite and helpful, gave good suggestions, AND: although this is clearly an "order/pay at the front" type of place, he did that while doing a full service table-side order at one table with a couple of high-maintenance-type ladies AND bringing out food to all tables AND bussing all of the tables! He also checked in with me, several times, to make sure I was doing ok. (Owners: I don't have his name, but I'm sure you know who this guy is - you've got something extremely rare, there! I would steal him away from you and have him work for me!) Lastly, the price was extremely reasonable: I paid under $16 (including tax) for an appetizer, 2 giant slices of pizza (one, of which, I added 3 toppings), and a drink. No question that the value was very high, here. All in all, a very good experience. I'll definitely be back to try a full pizza and some other things.

Nice place, great service, great food, clean kitchen. I researched the Anthony's in Denver before going here, people complained at many of their locations that the service was bad. Not my experience at all, this location looks to me to be staffed up with great people. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Before I ordered a whole pizza for my family I thought I would come scope the place out first. They sell by the slice and I wondered why 1 slice of Sicilian is $5... And $30 for a whole pie! After getting my slice the price made more sense. It's big, I'd say 9"x5" (that's a 9" plate in the pic). They confirmed that's the size of the slices when you get a whole or half pie. The Sicilian was good (I'd do extra sauce next time) but ended up going with a large margarita to take home. They have a true "large" pizza. I messed up and forgot to order a small to go with it (we have family visiting). To my surprise one pie fed 3 kids and 4 adults. Pretty comfortably. I'd order 1 more small for that many people next time, luckily everyone was happy. Really good classic NY style pizza. Great ranch dressing too!! This one's on my short list now. I hope they keep up the same level of quality and service. Go in, try 1 slice (and a beer) like I did. You'll leave with a whole pizza. Edit 2021: Since they've reopened, not the same. Ruined. Very sad to see.

Ordered pizzas here tonight after having good experience in the past. They go through a 3rd party company for online orders (Slice). After placing an order to be picked up later in the evening, we arrive home and realize the order was incorrect. Calling the store we were told it is the 3rd parties fault, and no fault of there's. We needed to contact the 3rd party for a refund. Proceeding this the manager Taylor mocked and belittled us over the phone. When asked to speak to a manager, he informed us it was himself. I asked to speak to someone over him, but he informed us, their was no one else. After calling the 3rd party and receiving a $9 refund for an $80 order. We ate our dinner,until..... Upon eating the cheese pizza we noticed many black hairs throughout our cheese pizza. I was then informed by a family member that the gentleman cooking had longer black hair, gross! This place has always been good, but not the cheapest. Unfortunately, tonight will be the last time we eat here. I have contacted the franchise about our experience. I know times are hard in finding dependable employees, but when customer service and professionalism lack this bad, it is only a matter of time. Very disappointing, and the last time they will get our money.

I really wanted to rate this place better, but things are a little rough. Not the food or service, but they’ve crossed the line into overpriced, unless I’m missing something.

First I wanted to say - the service was friendly, and the food was good. So that is not my issue. It was a quiet night and the staff was friendly and quick.

My issue is the fact that a lot of restaurants are taking the inflation issue a little far, and running a little long with it. This seems to be one of them.

Ordered a plain 12ā€ cheese pizza, cheese ravioli, meatballs and two diet cokes. $50. Really. I mean come on. Add the expected tip, and we’re at like $60 for what would be like $35 a couple years ago. This is going to run people off, guys.

I was especially shocked that the $7 (!!) for a side of meatballs only consisted of two small one-inch meatballs. For $7 I really figured it’d be a bit more than that.. And I get it’s not a national chain, but charging $2 more for a 12ā€ pizza than the big chains charge for a large is a bit rich.

That, and as others have said, the soda machine is eternally empty. Not sure why y’all have it if you’re not gonna use it?

I’d really go 2.5 stars but will round it to 3 to give them benefit of the doubt. Guys, the economy is slowing. I’m not going to pay full-service restaurant prices for an order-at-the-counter pizza joint no matter how good it is, and I’m sure...

My recent visit to Anthony's was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Liz. From the moment we walked through the door, it was evident that this establishment takes customer satisfaction to heart.

Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by Liz, who immediately made us feel welcome and appreciated. Her genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant and its offerings set a positive tone for the entire dining experience. Throughout our meal, Liz went above and beyond to ensure that everything was to our liking, making personalized recommendations and attending to our every need with a smile.

There are many NY style pizzerias in the area; what truly sets Anthony's apart, however, is the exceptional level of customer service provided by Liz and her team. Despite a packed restaurant, they managed to get our food out quickly and make each guest feel valued and attended to, creating an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that is truly rare to find.

In conclusion, my experience was nothing short of delightful, thanks in no small part to the outstanding service provided by Liz. Whether you're craving a classic slice or looking to try something new, I highly recommend paying a visit to this gem of a pizzeria. With Liz at the helm, you're guaranteed not only a fantastic meal but also a memorable dining experience that will keep you coming...
