I’m obsessed with this new BBQ & Hot Pot spot here in Colorado Springs! Located off Cinema Point, you can pick either bbq, hot pot, or do both! I was with my girls, and had to try both! Meats are picked by the set, or you can do a la carte. Hot pot is the same, and you are charged per item. Be sure you have a big group! A lot comes on those hot pot plates! While you’re there, be sure to check out their claw machines! #fypシ #bbq #hotpot #asianfood #coloradosprings

New sister location to the OG Hotpot Story restaurant on Barnes! Staff were happy, friendly, and helpful! It's worth checking out both locations as they have very different aesthetics. This newest location boasts a large, family style dining space that includes hotpot AND Asian-style BBQ. You can even do both! The tables allow you to have multiple hotpots and grill so you can do just one style or combinations of either! The menu is generous with loads of ingredients to choose from. The pricing at this location is based on a 2-3 person serving size versus individual portions. We LOVED the fun decor right upon walking up to the building which leads up a flight of stairs to an arcade just inside the restaurant. *It is worth noting that the open design makes the restaurant fairly loud between the music, other groups of diners, and arcade (which you can hear from the other side of the restaurant). We went today during what appears to be a "soft opening" - this location is not yet listed on their website and they are still making some small tweaks (eg they may add a dessert option such as ice cream to their menu, they are in the process of applying for a liquor license, the sauce bar tips/ suggestions/ instructions signs weren't up yet, and they have a large patio that is currently unused but would make for a great outdoor dining space if they are able to mobilize their tables). Overall, this location is very family friendly, great food, great service, fun aesthetic and we'll definitely be returning with our kids once they've fully opened and settled into the space.

We did not have a pleasant experience here. Customer service was not great. It was a very empty store. During our time there It started to rain and there was a serious leak in the roof and started to drip on my back/ floor so we did a shuffle at the table and continued eating. The staff didn’t ask us if we wanted to move tables but realistically it was fine we were 80% done with our meal. When it came time to pay we asked to speak to management or shift supervisor. They said nobody in charge was present. We talked it over with the waiting staff on what they could have done better and how they could have handled the situation better. They were receptive and then the employee gave a discount. We emailed the about the experience soon after we left and found out that the management team “reprimanded” the employee who helped our experience by giving a discount. This place has a lot of work to do. I hope it can improve.

Let's start off saying that this place was chosen off of a Tik Tok review. Nothing of what I was expecting. To start off, this was my first time going to this place and needed some help with the menu. Not sure how nor what to order. The waiter mentioned that the menus were received incorrectly, but still, himself didn't do the best in helping explaining the menu. Personally, seemed as if he was pointing out the most expensive items on the menu and didn't not "review" the entire menu. Came in a group of 3 and 2 of the orders were sent out before the 3rd order, took about an adtl 10 min for the last order to come out. The 2 meals that were out first was the beef bugogi meals. (I did not have this order) the 2 ppl who ordered stated the meat seemed grainy and a lot of fat with very little meat. 1 of the 2 made a comment, and the waiter stated that's just the type of meat they buy so it will always be this way. She mentioned how hard it was to eat and the waiter offered a pair of scissors to cut the meat off! Stood out as a odd alternative, so they requested some noodles in replacement of the meat. At the end of our meal waiting for the ticket the meal that wasn't eaten was still on the order, so it was asked to be compensated since the meal was more than half not eaten. The same waiter stated since the meal was touched they could not remove from the ticket, even though it was brought to their attention how hard it was to eat and was nowhere near finished, he was not budging on removing or crediting half of the meal. A manager was asked, for and he mentioned he was the manager and there was no way they could remove the meal because it's "policy" so additional time goes by and he is still arguing about removing the meal, so he then stated he will speak with someone else to see what he could do. But mind you he mentioned he was the manager after we asked to speak with one, so who did he speak with? He came back stating he could credit half of the meal. So keep in mind, he already argued for about 5 min which is a long time and still ended up crediting the meal. No other manager came by to help, he was argumentative, nor cared that the customer wasn't satisfied. Only cared about getting the full check worth. When it was mentioned that the customer service was bad and he'd probably get bad reviews off this, he stated that is ok and they'll be fine. If you ask me, service like this will not keep you in business. Policy or not, if a meal isn't edible, should be able to compensate for something. A one...

Three of us went last night and it was not very crowded. Probably because all of the low reviews. I would probably give them a 4.5, but I'm feeling generous today. The experience was actually better than expected. This was unique as you can order either a grill, like a Korean BBQ or a hotpot or both. We didn't know any better and ordered both.

Let's start with the hotpot. We were allowed to order one or two types of broth, we chose two. We ordered a few vegetables, shrimp and octopus. The quantity that they gave was way more than we could finish. We ended up taking half of the broth and the vegetables home with us. I don't know where the guy who said he only got 4 shrimp for $13 was wrong, we got about 10 or 12. We also cooked the shrimp on the grill as we had too much of the veggies and octopus to add to the hotpot. We brought home half.

The grill was abit different. The meat was a little pricey but no more than what to expect in a Korean BBQ. We did eat all of the order of beef that we ordered.

Now the good stuff. They provide all you can eat of their side dishes and sauces. The Bancha provided was great and we actually ate more than we should have. This is because the hotpot and the grill took a while to get hot (a downside).

We would definitely go back but if we did we would eat just one or the other: ...
