My first time here was wonderful, came a second time and brought a family member, was happy with the results when I left but then the nails started breaking not even a week later. I had one nail break right off and then another nail where the acrylic chipped off and I had to cut my natural nail down. I figured I’d give them a chance to fix it since I was really happy with them before. I walked in right at open and they seemed willing to fix them (was there 10:30- 12:15). I also asked to get a gel pedicure done. As I got my pedicure done, they accepted all walk-ins and filled their seats. Instead of finishing one client and then moving to the next they would do one step and then jump to another person and jump back to another, often shuffling people between seats and prolonging the process. Towards the end of my pedicure I tried to solidify what was going to happen with fixing my nails. For the two broken nails they were going to charge $6 - mind you I’ve never had a nail break before & I haven’t done anything strenuous in the week and a half I have had these nails as I’ve been off work. I then asked if could just redo the entire manicure, taking off the old polish, doing a fill and putting on new polish as I didn’t want to leave just to have another nail break. They stated that for that they’d only discount $3 because they would just fix the new broken nails. Photos below of what the broken nails looked like. I had the same person for my pedicure and then she took my existing gel off of my nails but then passed me off to Eric who was working on someone else just for me to sit here and wait longer. Mia then moved me to her chair where she did the acrylic. She asked why I didn’t fix just the two nails and I stated the above of not wanting more to break and she just said I then could come in to get those fixed too and that I should’ve made an appointment even though the accept walk-ins. After doing the fill she left to do another persons nails who had been waiting a good amount of time as well. Then she came back to do the next step, then moved back to her other client. Then Eric did the painting and then Mia came back and finished. They ended up taking $7 off the manicure. I’ll definitely be going back to JC Nails in Colorado Springs where I’ve not had issues of nails ever breaking, getting passed around artists/ chairs, or cleanliness. Other things to note: during my last appointment, workers without clients sat on their phones with their feet up on desks/ drawers with only socks on, gossiping about how one of the newer workers didn’t want to work. During this appointment, one of the workers over flowed the pedicure bowl so she grabbed a empty trash can that clearly had something dirty on the bottom and dunked it into the bowl to collect water and dump it out. My artists then did the same thing to my water.

I went to this location due to the amazing google reviews. The atmosphere is nice, maybe the staff is nice, I think the prices are just made up on the spot which is frustrating, I’m not a fan of thinking I’m going to be paying something and then boom it’s a $10-20 increase. While I was there it didn’t help that I overheard a lady just wanting to soak her feet and I think toes trimmed and filed with maybe some cuticle work and they were telling her she will pay $47 for that and she didn’t want massage or color just literally soaking her feet and some bare maintenance done and the staff was talking about her the entire time while she was there which I know she had to know and then for another 20-30 minutes when she was gone and I was there still talking mess, like I get it all work places gossip about certain customers but seeing it it’s just unprofessional and makes me think well damn how many other people are they talking about. Then I asked for designs and was told with confidence that they could be done and I noticed that there was some difficulty and that’s never a good sign so the design was not executed to my liking. They of course told me I needed to just get a whole new set because my original nail lady left my original location so I came here but they didn’t want to do the fill they had me do everything new so fine figured that would happen but looking at my nails at the shop and more throughout the day, the thumbs are way shorter than my other fingers, one hand length is different than the other, some finger lengths are different and when you have off nails and are picky with nails this is insanity chaos within, the design looks too childish compared to what I thought I was going to get from a picture I showed. It always sucks to shop around and find the greatest nail tech and lesson learned per usual. I know the reviews and pictures are amazing and maybe I just didn’t get the greatest work done or I’m too picky but spending a good amount on nails with hands being what a lot of people look at, I can say I am pretty disappointed in the pick of nail salon I made and I am looking to get these things redone asap which a too short thumb I don’t think there’s any fixing that… maybe this is a good place but for a first time experience I wasn’t wow’d to give another chance and I even tipped too much on top of the random price. They look alright but the little multiple things wrong is what is making me not happy with my nails at all.

I got my toenails done on June 15—today is the 27th, so it has only been 12 days. While I will admit the polish looked nice initially, I would not return. I had to call on June 22 to have one of my toenails fixed because the gel polish had completely come off. They did fix it, but now, just five days later, I am looking at the same issue again. One toe has chipped polish, and another toe has the gel polish completely gone. I knew the technician was rushing, and unfortunately, it shows in the quality of the work. Gel polish is supposed to last longer than 12 days. If I am being honest, I feel ripped off. I should not have to come back to the salon multiple times just to have my toes redone. If that is the case, then the gel polish being used clearly is not holding up and may need to be replaced. And the lady who fixed my toe nail even stated that my toes were not done right and offered to do them for me the next time but since this same issue has happened again, and since the gel polish that was used on me is clearly expired. I honesty want a refund it’s an inconvenience to have to go back a second time to get it fixed. I don’t know if they’ll give me a refund but if not I’d advise you all not to go to this salon go else where. Go somewhere where it will be worth it to spend money and tip. P.S ….I’m just noticing this at 11:pm on the 27th of June. It probably came off a lot earlier. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️ UPDATE Today is July 5th and of course because I’m not starring at my toes constantly I just noticed that the polish is chipped again . Just had to come back and edit further. One of the nail polish on the same toe that they “fixed” is still coming off and if I go back again to get it fixed it will have been my third time I will attach pictures but you will notice that my nails are still fresh and that’s because they are supposed to be it hasn’t been a month yet since I’ve got them done but for some reason the polish that they keep using on my feet is not good quality. Yes I have had white gel polish before I have showered and nothing happened at least not this early into having them something was wrong with my polish only days after getting them done and it keep happening I want my money back it’s such an inconvenience to have to go back and get them “fixed” multiple times.

Unfortunately i'm able to leave 0 stars. But that's what this review really deserves. I had called about 5:30 pm this past Friday. The website has 7:30 pm for closing time. The young lady whom answered was extremely friendly and said she was able to take me as a walk in for a pedicure. But unfortunately my experience was terrible. Not to mention this was my first time coming. I sat in a pedicure chair for over 45 minutes before someone even helped me. When I finally got assisted, it was an older lady whom was going to do my pedicure. She asked which one I wanted to do and I showed and told her. I picked the signature which should consist of a sugar scrub hot towels, and also hot rocks with lotion moisturization. The lady was originally nice but she ended up changing her attitude later on. She did not understand anything I was requesting. I work out at the gym daily and I requested for shorter toenails. I wanted them filed all the way down not past my skin and she did not understand that. She went and got another employee who barely understood either. It was very frustrating because I wanted certain things done and they were not fufilled. She also rushed my pedicure and did not do the one I requested. It was after 8 pm and everyone else was already ready to go. I'm assuming this lady who was doing my feet was as well. Because she forgot to do the hot towels, hot rocks, massage and lotion moisturizing. I was extremely upset. And upon completion of my toes. I noticed it was a part that she missed regarding the polish and i mentioned that. She did nothing about it. The minute I asked for a manager and expressed my frustration and how unsatisfied I was they tried to rush me out again. The entire service was trash, she was rude and arrogant. I voiced that I was not satisfied on multiple occasions and just wanted a refund. They refused to do so. Then did not want to provide the management's information. I'm going to dispute the charge because this is absurd and ridiculous. They still decided to charge me as if I had ther service I requested when in reality it was never fufilled. I do not recommend this place at all!!!!!! So unprofessional and rude employees who talk crap about you in their native language. I reached out to the owner and they ignored me since Friday. They finally called me back after I sent a lengthy paragraph about my experience and what I wanted. Which was simply a refund. They hung up in my face and also said we will talk to a manager and call you back. Like what???? How is this acceptable when you are literally the owners! Super unprofessional and annoying. If i'm the customer and expressing and telling you how my FIRST time experience went-which was terrible, why are you not willing to satisfy what I'm requesting? A refund! That's not hard at all. Definitely a money grab and bad for business. Do not go to this nail shop. They are full of it, and even the owners refuse to take accountability for their employees poor actions and behaviors. They were not apologetic whatsoever...

This is my experience it was horrible!!!!!

I went to get my nails done for my birthday on September 25th at 2:30 in the afternoon. Everything was going very normally until they started doing my nails. At first, the color wasn't the exact one I had requested, nor the exact shape that was in the photo. They said the color was similar, to which I told them that was fine, I didn't care, I just let them know that the nails weren't exactly what I had requested, but that I was happy with the result. 34 days went by. When the nails started to feel very weak, by Tuesday, I no longer had half a hand because my nails started falling off. I was willing to call that day, but they were closed, so by Wednesday I had to work and I couldn't go to make an appointment that day or on Thursday. I want to clarify that by this time I no longer had any nails today, Friday, October 3rd. I tried to call and ask them what could be done. In this case, at first Esme had said that I could go to get my nails done, but I really didn't want to do it anymore because I hurt one of my nails and it hurts too much for me to be putting on fake nails, so I asked them for a refound, I heard them talking to each other. I thought they were going to help me, but out of nowhere they hung up on me, I called 567 times they hung up on me until one of them they answered me, but they didn't talk to me and I was listening on the phone as they were complaining to one of the clients, saying that the day I went to the appointment, I had asked for a discount when I hadn't, I paid the full price for my nails without any ifs and buts. Aside from what they said, they also made the comment that I removed my nails, which was not the case, the nails fell off on their own, I wear gloves, every time I took off the gloves, one or the other nail came out, how is that possible????? Nobody wanted to answer me, the two people who helped me were very rude to me, aside from hanging up on me, they told me it was my fault that they didn't send me a refund and that was all and hung up on me, a client there answered me because they didn't want to talk to me, I told her I'm not a problematic person, I don't like to fight to solve problems, I told her what they did to me on the call, I told her how I felt and even so she gave them the side saying that I couldn't do anything that it had already been nine days, when the week had barely been yesterday, today marks eight days not nine and that for that minimal reason they can't give me a refund. It was my first Nail salon that I went to since I arrived here to Colorado two and a half months ago. My nails are not so delicate that they should fall off in less than a week. This is my experience with this Nail salon, the truth is very bad, it was horrible, the treatment they gave me and the solution they didn't care about how I felt that it was...
