Coffee and Tea Zone — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I'm over 50-years-old and this is the first place that I've ever been KICKED OUT of... My daughter and her boyfriend bought some drinks here and I went next door to the ice cream place for a milkshake. We sat and talked for about 20 minutes or so using a table outside, but then the wind picked up and we decided to move indoors to the EMPTY Coffee & Tea Zone sitting area. I got five steps into the store when the employee behind the counter pointed directly at me and informed me that I COULD NOT be in the store because I didn't purchase anything from them. My daughter was quick to point out that both she and her boyfriend had bought drinks about 20 minutes before but that didn't matter at all to the clerk/jerk behind the counter. It was like I was C3PO in Star Wars: "Hey! We don't serve their kind here!" So we all left the once again EMPTY store. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from this store on principle. Good luck staying profitable with employees and rules that discourage customers...

I've seen this place a few times, finally went in the other day and really could have missed this place and not been bothered.

I'll just start with my initial impression, the decor. I'm not sure who thought red and black Checkerboard went with antiqued copper walls but hopefully they don't get any more jobs as a decorator. It's super dark and creepy inside and the furniture is all stained and gross as well. The security cameras were off putting, 10 cameras just on the front counter. I'm hoping that some just don't work not that you're so paranoid that you're blaming your employees for not having business or making money.

The service was just as awful as the decor, the young man working made it quite obvious that I interrupted his movie and seemed to be put out that I wanted to order anything.

The boba in both drinks was frozen and wouldn't go through the straws, the drinks just tasted...

I came in and got a smoothie with boba the cashier was so rude. I spoke kindly said thank you and please. I use to work customer service and I have never treated any customer like that. It was the young man with curly blonde hair, nose piercing and an attitude problem. They first forgot to give me water and when we asked for the water he rolled his eye, I still told them to have a good day, then I noticed I was given a regular straw so I want able to enjoy my smoothie with boba. I came back in and for a straw and he said nothing at all and aggressively placed the straw on the counter. I will not be going back to this location due to the lack of kindness, manners and basic customer service. But the smoothie was very good but he also didn’t...
