This branch just opened up, so thought weâd try it out. We were seated immediately on a Friday night at 6 pm for a table of 4 + 2 high chairs. That was a good start. But the first thing I noticed was the high chair was covered in⊠I donât even know. But it was not clean. Our waitress, Anna (Anastasia), greeted us and we asked for waters. Then we each ordered a beer. My husband ordered a 90 shilling and I ordered the dry dock apricot blonde. Our joiners arrived and we still hadnât received our beers. Anna returned to take our order, but we weren't ready quite yet. We inquired about our beers. She didnât remember what we had ordered, which leads me to assume she never put them in. We ordered food and everything came out at different times, despite ordering together. We still didnât have our beers. My husbandâs 15 boneless wings came out first. Another 5-10 minutes went by until 2 other meals came out: a burger and 10 dry rub wings with a side of fries, but Instead of fries, a salad came out. The food runner said heâd just get us fries, too, which he did. Nobody had silverware or napkins. Another food runner brought out a bunch of appetizers and tried to give them to us, but we declined saying they werenât ordered. By this time, the beers arrived (I still didnât have my food) and we both received an avalanche amber ale, which neither of us ordered. Itâs a close second to 90 shilling, but as a server you should ask if a substitute is ok. We wouldâve appreciated the heads up and the fact she knew something about beer, but she didnât. Nor did she apologize or offer to take it off the bill. I didnât drink mine but my husband told me not to âcomplain.â Our waters were empty and we had to ask for refills, but my sister just ended up giving me hers. Our sonâs kids meal came out last along with my order of 10 traditional wings. Anna insisted on explaining every painful mistake, which did not help. We donât need to understand how your kitchen sends food out. We just would like to eat dinner at the same time, together. Every step of our meal seemed challenging and frankly, like a huge dumpster fire. None of the food runners knew where anything was going and as I watched Anna I realized there was a pattern. Literally every time she walked up to a different table the first thing sheâd do is apologize and try and explain how busy she was, or that she had to go yell at someone for messing something up, or that she canât wait to go home. Seriously? I have now written off BWW because it was so insanely terrible. Awful service and the food was not enjoyable either. Fries were cold and the kids meal was a joke. Working in the service industry for 17 years, I have a lot of compassion for restaurants and servers, especially these days, but this was absolutely unacceptable service. What a...
Read moreThe worst experience I've ever had at a new restaurant and a Buffalo Wild Wings. We understood the wait time to be seated. It's a new location during the holidays. We accepted that our 25 minute wait turned into 40 minutes even though most of the tables were empty. We were about to leave and go elsewhere when the host told us they were ready for us. I mentioned to the host that there seemed to be a lot of people waiting for their food. He said that it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to get our order It took 5 minutes for our waiter to greet us. Having waited awhile, we had already looked at the online menu and knew what we wanted. We ordered our food and our drinks all at the same time. This was at approximately 1:43. At about 2, I asked the host if he could find our waiter because we still hadn't gotten our drinks. The waiter finally brings us our drinks then asks if we're ready to order. We reminded him that we already ordered and he took off. I told the host about it hoping he could check for us. He said that I'd have to check with my waiter. The food finally started coming out at about 2:12. This was nearly 30 minutes after we'd ordered...all our food didn't arrive until 2:23. My husband got his boneless wings, but not his fries. About 3 minutes later, I got my meal. Our girls still didn't have their meals. I asked the server for silverware because none of us had any and my husband couldn't eat his boneless wings. Then, one of my daughters' meals came...after he'd delivered it to the wrong table. Still no silverware or napkins. Then, I asked the host if he had any. He went to the back to find some only to come back and say that he couldn't find any and that it looked like the waiter was getting some for us. The waiter came back with my other daughter's meal. I then asked him again for silverware and finally he went back and delivered it. Of course, my drink was empty at this point, but I dared not ask for anything else for fear of being there for eternity. We ate our food which was subpar for Buffalo Wild Wings. Oh, and my husband never did get his fries. We asked for the check instead. We finally got that, but he had forgotten to get my loyalty number ahead of time even though I had mentioned to him when we ordered that I had a reward. I gave it to him, and he left. After 5 more minutes, my girls and I left while my husband waited for the waiter to return, so he could pay the bill. I know that finding employees is hard right now, but I saw about a dozen different employees in that small restaurant in the time we were there. They had many open tables that they weren't filling on purpose. The GM seemed unabashed. Bad training, bad leadership and all around an awful experience. The host said come again as we left, that's...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed that we had such horrible service the very first time we decided to visit. Buffalo Wild Wings used to be a favorite of ours. Plus it is opened late so we were excited that they built one close to home. We decided to go in on Saturday night (Jan 21) after 11pm. We walked in and there was no hostess. There was also nobody to acknowledge that there were even new customers that walked in the restaurant. We stood there waiting and there were a lot of employees walking around, but nobody that would even look our way. Finally the bartender could tell that we were not sure what to do so he yelled to us that we could take a seat anywhere we like. We decided to have a seat at a high top in the bar area. We sat and talked for around 15 minutes and still had no menus and nobody had come to talk to us. The restaurant was not even very busy at all. There are only a few tables. Finally I decided to just get up and find somebody to see if we could at least get some menus. I was able to stop another waitress as she was walking by. She said she would get somebody because it wasn't her table and I think she was going on break. The bartender noticed that we were still waiting and asked if anyone had helped us. I explained that we were still waiting, but I had asked a waitress to get someone. He went and got the waiter that was supposed to help us. I saw the waiter just chatting with another employee before all of this so I'm not sure how he didn't notice new customers. He finally took our order, but would take a long time to come back and we waited forever just to finally pay even though I was looking right at him and he had no other customers. He was making himself busy behind the bar for some reason. It didn't make sense why. He made a mistake on the ticket, which I caught, so had to get a manager to fix it. He kind of seemed high to me, but that could have just been him. It was hard to tell. The food was ok. The drinks unfortunately were watered down. I told him there was no carbonation in my drink and he got a new one that was the same. He just said the machine is down or something. So even if this waiter was awful, there were no managers actually running the place so we assumed that was probably the reason why. Definitely need to change management here if this place is going to survive. Please let us know if you do that because it's a great location and...
