I like chipotle. My digestive system does better if I avoid the onions and bell peppers, sour cream, undercooked flour tortilla and any fresh vegetables there.. (May not be their problem. I've just noticed the last year or two.) I was frustrated when prices went up and amounts of food given went down. But I think after the covid close down, we just have to be thankful that they were able to open at all! I do like the food. I don't consume undercooked meat. But they have options. I don't like things too spicy. But I understand that other people do enjoy those things. I really like to go to Chipotle and was very thankful to receive a gift card for my birthday which I've been working on spending! I just have to really think when I'm ordering about what I can and cannot eat there. Sometimes they've had a specialty meat choice and it was really good.. I don't remember what they called it. If they had it all the time I would eat there more often. My adult sons devour huge burritos there! So, yes I'd say it's a good place to go to eat. Being on a limited budget I usually get their bowl meal and take it home to add my own sour cream or Greek yogurt, and piur a tall glass of milk to help tone down the spice. I divide the meal in half to make two meals, because if I eat more than I need I gain weight. Maybe that doesn't happen for you but it does for me so I've become very mindful about how much I eat and Portion sizes. I'd say this is a good place to go. Kind of noisy, but has the Vibes of excitement there with their music- so it seems like a fun place especially for young people to go. However if you're on a "hot date," with someone you'd really like to have a conversation with and get to know better, that might be kind of challenging. Maybe when it's warmer weather you can sit outside? That might be nice! Anyway I do like this place and I hope you'll go there if you've never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, it's covid season, I get it people are short staffed, but yelling at customers is always a no go in my book.
We ordered a togo order at 5:10 for a pickup at 5:30 while sitting in the parking lot. I have two babies and wasn't even about to bring them in to wait in line to order. I get inside and at 5:45 my food still isn't ready, so I waited for the lady at the register to finish checking out and the asked the employee at the register if there was someone in charge of pick up orders I could check on my order with. She was nice and asked what name, and then the girl on the line comes over and asked what was up. I said our names again and she stared at me, so I continued to bring up the fact that I paid over 30 minutes before anyone that was in line had even gotten here and that they are crying in car, and I just wanted to check only food. She then started yelling at me, explaining that who I see is who they have and those are the only people that showed up to work. So I said, ok I understand that and that sounds rough (assuming maybe she just needed to vent?), but I just wanted an update on my order. So then she rolls her eyes and walks away, continuing to make burritos on the line for a customer in line... I wait until another person finished checking out and then told them that my kids are still in the car crying while they ignore me. The nicer young lady then goes to the back and comes back to tell me there is one order I'm front of mine, I said thank you and told her I was going to go back outside and wait in to car with my husband and kids.
I deal with screaming kids and stress all day with my own job and household, etc. I don't appreciate a moody teen yelling at me and then ignoring me when I ask someone about my order. (as it clearly states to do, inside the store, after you checkout online...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI like Chipotle a lot, Iāve been to many locations. But whoeverās working the grill at this location uses WAY too much salt on the chicken. Side note: I used to work at Chipotle (worked there for 2 years) and I love the food.
Hear me out. I got a bowl a few week ago with the regular chicken. Something about it was incredibly salty, and after testing the different ingredients, it seemed the chicken was way over salted. I couldnāt finish my meal because it absolutely overpowered the taste of everything else. I could feel my blood pressure rising with each bite - not from anger, but from pure MSG.
I thought it was just a one-off instance and got the same order a few days after that. Everything was good, it tasted just how Chipotle should taste.
Today, I got the same order again. Good lord, my eyes were watering from salt overdose. I donāt know whoās working the grill back there, but PLEASE taste your chicken. Matter of fact, let all the staff taste it because it is WAY too salty. Iām begging you. Donāt let my skin color fool you, I love spice, but when you overpower your meat with salt, it overtakes all the other flavors.
I donāt know if anyone else is complaining about salty chicken, but again, I have worked at Chipotle and I eat there quite often, so I feel qualified to determine if something is off. Everything else was great; Iāve had no issues with the staff or...
