Unfortunately we had no experience with any food today. We had a voucher/gift certificate from a local radio station and stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner. We knew beforehand it would likely be bar food, but that was okay.
From the outside, it screams "bar," despite advertising itself as a sports bar and grill... there's definitely a distinction here. We walk in... and it's damn near empty... except for a very crowded poker table. This entire table stares us down as we entered. I can't emphasize enough that we didn't feel welcome here. Despite this, we sit at the bar, hoping it's just some "local" thing and we can just have a decent lunch.
Unfortunately, we never got to see an employee or staff member. No one was working the bar and we sat for over 10 minutes with not a single person ever appearing from the kitchen/back area. There wasn't any signage or indication that the poker was a private event.
We left, not having spent any money or redeeming our voucher/certificate. It's as if we were never there. We won't be back. No doubt there are certain folks who like this bar. But it's just that... a bar. It isn't a "grill" or anything close to being anything else.
If management or owners need any indication of what needs to change... start by considering what you'd like to be, what you want to be know for, and how any outsider (non-poker-player, apparently) feels when...

Read moreGreat bar, great atmosphere but absolutely horrible pool tables if you're a league player. I'd come and play pool if I was drinking with friends but as a league player I don't recommend it to anyone unfortunately. Rails are dead and the felt is like thick carpet. If you want any kind of English you really gotta put some forceful effort into your stroke and then because of that effort you have no control on...
