I had the Bacon Breakfast Burrito! If you're a breakfast lover with a taste for bacon, this breakfast burrito seems to be crafted just for you. Here’s a breakdown of what makes it worth considering, along with a few potential drawbacks: Pros: 1. Generous Bacon Portion: The diner doesn’t skimp on bacon, giving each bite a savory, smoky flavor. This is a major plus for anyone who craves that rich, salty goodness. 2. Christmas-Style Smothering: Smothered in both red and green chili (known as “Christmas style”), this burrito brings an exciting level of spice and flavor complexity that really elevates the dish. 3. Exceptional Red Chili: It’s not every day that red chili takes the spotlight over green, but this one does (in my opinion... I'm a green chile snob). The green wasn't bad but the red was rich, flavorful, and well-balanced, it’s a unique touch that’s memorable. 4. Hearty Portion: This is a burrito built to satisfy. If you're looking for a filling breakfast that won't leave you hungry halfway through the morning, this hearty option won’t disappoint. 5. Service was good. Time from order to eating was good. Place was clean. Cons: 1. High Price Point: While it's certainly delicious, the burrito is on the pricier side. Burrito, glass of water, and waitress tip was a full Andrew Jackson ($20). ...If affordability is key, this might not be the best choice for a frequent breakfast. 2. "Service Fee" Surcharge... It's my opinion this should be ruled into menu pricing, not an additional tack on that the customer is not privy too until the bill comes. Verdict: This burrito delivers on both flavor and portion, making it a premium breakfast experience. If you're open to splurging a bit (and condoning a "Service Fee" business model) for a satisfying, bacon-heavy meal with standout red chili, it’s a worthwhile indulgence for a first timer.

I found my new favorite place. My dad and I came here for breakfast on a Friday. Our waitress gave us some of the best service we've had in a long time. She was incredibly friendly and quick. We got a table right away. We got our drinks right away. She answered our questions and gave us recommendations. I ordered the Big Pig Omelet with green chile and an english muffin. They didn't have grape jelly for the english muffin, but our waitress sold me on the Strawberry Peach Pepper jelly. It sounded weird to me at first, but it was actually really good. The omlette came with chorizo, pork, and bacon. The pork pieces were huge. The chorizo was delicious. The bacon was perfect. Normally, omlettes don't get a lot of fillings, but they loaded it up. My favorite part was the green chile that smothered the omlette. It was some of the best green chile I've had. My dad ordered the Hillbilly breakfast. It was a biscuit and gravy over their buttered browns with eggs. We had to ask what buttered browns were. They're like hash browns. He ordered over medium eggs. They were cooked perfectly. He loved the gravy the most. The gravy tasted home made. The way my dad used to get it when he was young. I got a chance to try the gravy, and it was the best I've ever had. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great food. Great service. You can't go wrong here.

Me and the wife are kicking ourselves for not trying this place sooner. It'll be a regular spot for us now. I came for the Blackbetty Burger. It has peanut butter, blackberry jam, and green chilis. I know it sounds odd, but it's killer. I'll add bacon next time. The good quality of the meat is very noticeable. My wife ordered Sharon's omelette, which has every vegetable they have lol. She loved it! The butter browns are the best freaking hash browns we've ever had. I finished the omelette for her so she could dig into her massive blueberry pancake. She said the second best pancake ever, behind a pineapple upside down pancake at a tiny airport restaurant in Texas. I was too busy enjoying her omelette to try. Also, to the person with the one star review complaining about raw veggies. If you want mush, you'd be waiting a long time. They're SUPPOSED to have texture. Bring a blender next time. The entire meal was absolutely phenomenal. I can't believe we've lived right by it for three years. EDIT 01/29/2025: Got the Big Pig Omelette today. Best omelette I've ever had. The red and green chili are on point. Doug's just knocked Uncle Sam's off my #1 spot. Doug's is officially my favorite breakfast in El Paso County.

Suuuuper disappointed in this place and honestly have no clue how they are rated 4.5 stars. We ordered the Hilbilly (+veggies bc none were in the meal) and the Momar sandwich. The food was barely warm and completely lacked any sort of flavor. I’ve never had such a flavorless meal. The biscuit was super crispy and the gravy had no taste whatsoever. Potatoes were mushy, eggs smelled awful. The sandwich was made with cold, pink turkey that tasted like it came straight from a plastic package out of an elementary school kitchen. It didn’t seem like any of the ingredients were of any quality at all. We didn’t finish our food, stacked everything up in a neat pile and waited ten mins for someone to come check on us and bring the check to find they charged me over $1 PER VEGETABLE (maybe a gram each) added to the hashbrowns.. I put my card with the check and waited another 15 mins before someone came back to charge my card. During this time, one waiting party left without being served and another was seated outside. Nearly everyone in the restaurant (staff and patrons) had a problem giving dirty looks and staring. Not sure what’s going on here that we had these problems but I definitely would not recommend this place to anybody and don’t know how there are so many five...
