I was 30 minutes early for a bus and as an individual who is blind I didn't want to wonder off too far but also didnt want to stand in the rain at the bus stop for 30 minutes so I popped in for a bite to eat for breakfast. Upon approaching the door it was easy to locate the door handle with my blind cane instead of running my hands all over windows looking for the door. The door was not overly heavy and openned easily. Once I got inside it was easy to figure out how to get in line with 0 vision, the Rosa and the rest of the staff were lively and paying close attention to the customes and the line was moving pretty steadily and I could hear when the staff called up the next customer so for once i was able to actually que in line instead of having to stand akwardly at the side waiting to be helped. I was able to easily order my food, understand my options and the prices (i cannot read the menu) and when I asked for a reccomendation as it had been a while since i ate there she had a genuine reccomendation on what she likes to get on her days off, another good sign that the staff eats the food they serve all day. Her reccomendation with my customizations and extra portions added to my behemouth of a burrito was decently priced considering the extra portions on a large burrito and a large drink and chips still under $15 for 4 meals worth of food and a really bubbly cocacola. When I was getting assistance with filling my drink at the fountain I 1. did not have to request, the lady who helped me was enthusiastic and proactive offering specific help "May I help you fill your drink" and gave amazing assistance to the blind by giving specific directions "There are 4 available clean tables on the east wall, turn to your left, go one table over, there is a gentleman sitting in that chair, and then turn to your right and you will be facing the first available clean table." instead of "it's over there" . When she brought my food out she announced that she was approaching the table so she didnt startle me, and then let me know with clear crisp detail which side of the table she was setting my food, which order things were packed in the bag from the top to the bottom of the bag, and where she was placing my soda. This was extremely refreshing for some one with 0 vision to not have to worry about educating the person assisting me and instead being able to just enjoy a tasty burrito and a bubbly soda and relax for the time I was waiting. Read moreThis is definitely a zero star restaurant! After my experience on 8/5/2020 I will never order from any Qdoba restaurant again. I made an online order directly from the Qdoba app for delivery. After an hour of no word we called Qdoba and the order has been sitting for an hour with no word of delivery. We requested for a refund and they refused and said call DoorDash even though we ordered from Qdoba. We were unable to contact doordash and made an order through a different restaurant still delivered by doordash (received that order no issues). Two hours later we get a call from doordash because they were being refused to deliver the food. We explained to doordash that it has been two hours and we wanted the food remade because it is not safe to eat food that has been sitting out for two hours. Qdoba refused to remake the order even though the issue was on Qdoba’s end because doordash did not receive the order until two hours after the order was sitting out. We will never go to another Qdoba again because they have poor customer service and refused to do right by their customers. Now I am working with doordash customer service to try to get a credit for an order we never received and was unsafe to eat.
Update: I have worked in customer service for 10+ years. I knew from the start that this issue needed to be 100% resolved by Qdoba NOT doordash. However, I took the extra steps and contacted doordash spent 90 minutes with them on the phone. The investigation came to the conclusion that Since the order was made on Qdoba app that it is 100% Qdoba responsibility to handle customer issues. Either by remaking the food when the doordasher was at the location or crediting me immediately. That doordash delivery for these orders never receives customer billing information to have access to give credits. So once again call Qdoba for them to resolve the issue and the manager refused to issue the credit and once again pushed the issue on doordash telling me to call them. After explaining to her that it is her responsibility to resolve and telling her how to contact doordash she hung up on me with no resolution. This is extremely poor customer service!!! Read moreThis location has hired a lot of teenagers. Not necessarily a bad thing, however there is almost NEVER someone who can be responsible there with them. They goof off, are constantly on their phones, and we even had to yell at them last time to be quiet and stop screaming back and forth. That day also, two of the boys were trying to clean the hoods over the grills and fryer when they were still on and hot! They were dusting off the lights over the bar and it was falling into the food . Both would make such a great complaint to Department of Health. And OSHA. Management or the owner really needs to stick around over the dinner hour and help and train the staff instead of just giving them free rein. Falling into a hot fryer or on a Hot Grill is just asking for a lawsuit. Otherwise the food is generally okay but not fantastic. Other locations definitely have better food. And they change their business hours all the time. We try to go in for a dinner meal and they're closed at 4. Will try to go in for lunch and they're not open yet even though it's noon. They're closed on one day but open on another. Very inconsistent The only thing you can count on to be consistent is the fact that the dining room is always a disgusting mess. Food on the tables and the chairs and all over the floor, drink stations that are completely a mess and sticky, flatware and napkins that always needs stocking and the trash cans are always overfilling.
