Five Guys — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I can honestly say this establishment is the place to go when you are in need of healing your stomach with get right food. This was my first time in here. The associates customer service was so fantastically welcoming, relaxing, yet proffessionally warm & friendly at the same time; making us feel at home. Inside Five Guys was really clean; not so crowded & noisy. Smelled clean & absolutely meaty. I was ready to eat some meat. Our food was wonderful! Freshly made to the degree we requested. My big 'ol double cheeseburger & my husband's big 'ol chilly cheese dog were hot & juicy. They were dripping sauce & oil down our fingers down our hands & onto the wrappings. We split awesome fries which we were able to wipe up that delicious drippy sauce with & stuff our faces like we weren't going to eat so good again. I didn't want to get up when I was finished. I was so stuffed, so full. Like, that little blueberry girl on Willy Wonka who they rolled away. Ya, roll me if you have to. Lol, but I didn't want to go. Went last night around 7 pm with my family. We each ordered a burger, fries, and a shake for dine in. We were greeted right away by friendly staff and placed our order at the counter. Our shakes were out in minutes and we're delicious. The burgers and fries were done a few minutes later. Everything looked great except I ordered grilled onions and the ones on the burger were still raw. Being a cook from philadelphia and having a very high expectation for how my food is prepared I was a bit upset. I asked if the onions were grilled and their reply was that they ran out and didn't have much time to make some. Again I was starting to get upset due to not being asked if that would be ok. Before I could voice my opinion on the matter I was asked I would like it made over. I accepted the request to make it over and it was made great. Onions were still well under cooked but I wasn't splitting hairs about it. Overall...

A month after initial review: decided to place a pick up order and pick it up myself. Again, the customer service is superb, friendly greeting when I walked in, prompt, attentive, accommodating staff as I approached the pick up area. And the food was delicious as always. Order was even ready a tad sooner than expected. You all are a great crew at this location- THANK YOU!

Such a friendly staff! From smiles, to hellos, I have not been this impresssed by a staff in awhile! You could tell they worked together well as a team, and were all working, no one on their phone or standing around, all collectively contributing.
